Not being able to close doors is a big problem for me!!! In what zombie world do you leave all doors open? The very first demo gameplay years ago had you able to close a door and the zombies were able to crash through it. It's much more realistic!!!

I like the block because it makes taking down crusher, butchers screamers, and mutators easier in my opinion

I loved playing this game - although I do wish that the weapons had a base damage and then damage added on for their effects - that way when you cut a burning zombie with a flaming knife it would at least still hurt it with the knife aspect but the fire damage wouldn't be included. Just doesn't seem to make sense for them to do no damage at all.

There is so much to like in this game: the shadow work; especially at night with car lights on a wall. when you are being stalked by the "clown" using high tier acid weapons on just about any zombie Meat Bomb The Spider Set Kicking the zombies into the Chemical X pool Favorite weapons: Swords with electricity mod - especially good for a tank build using block. Crushers and Drummers have almost no defense Pike with mutilator mod in the first position. Best counter animation. It is also a homing thrown weapon. Really affective against the exploding zombies. Just kinda aim for the zombie's head The composite sledgehammers with the acid mod. Hit a regular zombie in the head and watch its face melt and their jaw hang off or hit an arm and watch it become all floppy. Brass knuckles - really fun against crushers. You really get the upfront and personal wounding and killing of a zombie. Oh yeah aim for the head.

Dead island is the arcade feel of zombie slaying and Dying light is the sim feel of zombie slaying. I think dead island is better and more fun

I really love this game. I took the Pre-Order weapon " Homewrecker" and built it so it's stronger then even the strongest Legendary weapon. Built around Focus and Explosions. When you can swing once and sent a cluster of 7 zombies flying. It's so much fun! Playing as Ryan benefits this because the enemies get "knocked down" so my HP is rarely going down below 3/4.

I am not that far into the game room pretty well. I’m at the beach area but I’m so far I like swords. I think they’re my favorite weapon. Guns are not my thing but I do use them because I have to also if you’d like to come watch and hang out sometime I do stream this game pretty much once or twice a week all right well you have a great day and a thank you for the info.

Yes and no. By nature they do scale, but, there are areas where the zombies are in fact higher than you. It isn't a level lock, it just makes it much more challenging to traverse that area (before you are supposed to).

Somewhat. Some areas are reserved for later evens but are not sealed. Rather the zeds are just set 5 levels higher (which makes your standard enemy one shot you.)

Not to be this guy but the first dead island came out before dying light and was made by the same dev before they left deep silver. A lot of the systems carried over except for the parkour. But yes it does look like a less appealing dying light lol
