If you buys it now, you'll get 25 characters. So there's like only 15 characters on Dlc. 25 for $50? That makes sense. People who are on the fence because of the whole "half the characters are dlc" argument should look for the facts and not just be swayed away by a misinformed argument. 1 dlc character is at average $5 for other games. For an additional $10 if you consider the game as a normal priced $60 game and you get 20 characters more... isn't that enough?

Agreed. How many DLC packs and re-releases did it take SFIV to reach its final roster. I guess if you're Capcom and spread it out on a long enough timeline people will forget that it happened.

and that is the reason why a characters worth is 1.7$ if you are buying a pack or 1.3$ if you get the deluxe edition, and the deluxe edition is just standard AAA price. DLC characters here are way cheaper then what they are in any other fighting game.

People complain about the dlc costing 20$ for the character pass or 70$ for the deluxe edition but you pay 8.99 for one dlc character in most fighting games. so 70$ is not that bad imo.

The one thing I never get about the reused assets argument: Haven't most games just been reusing assets for sequels? BlazBlue assets seem to look almost the same as in the first game. Also, specific things are not done with the DLC characters, like the astrals.

They'd practically have to make new sprites for the entire cast. The sprites from Accent Core are too low-res to compete with the ammount of detail in the crossover franchises. But I still hope we'll get GGxBB one day...

So, you're not gonna listen why he gave that score? I feel like this is a problem with reviews nowadays especially with IGN/Gamespot because you see this kinda comment a lot of the time in their review video. The obsession with score instead of listen to the reason/opinion and the info lay before you so you can make a decision if it's a game for you or not. On the other hand, Gamespot/IGN are a big outlet with so many people which lead to many opinions, so the consistency in review is lacking as a whole....I guess that's why some journalist that gone out and doing there own thing are doing much better now since people don't see the review coming from a collective group but from an individual.

This is how MvCi should have been. Unist is better but this shit is still awesome with unique techs, 9/10 for me too. And the dlcs are fine, i'd rather pay for this than 8 bucks a character, lol and it's from Arcsys so why not?

I played and loved all the games represented here. I even loved the Demo. But one glance at that long list of $4.99 DLC character packs...I passed and never looked back. Shame how greedy monetization is such a stupid barrier to otherwise great games. Luckily, there are tons of games to play without all this greedy shit.

Arc could have done a little bit better with this game. And the fact that people are defending the DLC is hilarious. Then again, people have defended Koei Tecmo's awful PC ports, SFV, PUBG, EA, Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo, Steam, KOF 12, Street Fighter X Tekken and SEGA before, so I'm not surprised.

I may be nitpicking but, this game does not compared to the original games that these characters come from. When I pick up and play one of these games on their own, it feels like I'm playing that game. When I play this game it feels like I have to retrain my brain to not do the same combos and moves from the other game. When I switched from playing BlazBlue on PS3 to BlazBlue on PS4, I basically didn't have to change or relearn any move from characters I knew. Or when playing Persona 4 Arena ultimax, there are the status effects you can give to the other player, but within cross tag battle... Those status effects that you try to use in this game won't work like in original Persona 4 Arena ultimax. Basically, if you're coming from the original games that these characters come from, you going to have a really hard time learning this game because of retraining your brain to play a different way than you're used to with the character that you want to use. I'm not saying that it's bad for newcomers, but if you played the original game don't play this. The original game have so unique controls that playing this game will train your brain to play a whole different new way that you're not used to with the characters that you are used to playing in their original games. The story is a hell of a lot better then the fighting aspect of the game. Yes the story isn't as good as a BlazBlue or a Persona 4 story, but to find a positive in Cross tag battle, the story is at least decent enough to be good. But overall if you are new to play this game play this, but if you want a better experience of what these games have play the original games these characters come from.

4 main things that's wrong with this game! 1. They don't have any guilty gear characters on this game. 2. They don't have Bang Shishigami, even tho he's one of the best characters in the blaze blues series. 3. The life bars go to Dame fast! After 10 to 15 hits the whole match is over! 4. The story mode was simply put together, like to say we just gonna give ours fans a very long ass dialog! Its not they gonna notice the difference. The talking in the story mode goes on and on! They should of put sponge Bob saying 20 minutes later in the blaze blue story mode I only played two freaking matches! Lol don't give me wrong it's a good game but sometimes this game could be a little annoying...

Its a overrated average game, the philosophy doesnt have anything to do with being a Good GAME, you know that You ACTUALLY PLAY, it reuses too many enemies, there almost no variety, the enverioment are dry, empty, there is no reason for that game to have the praise it Does, is only because the story and music that gets praise, the combat is the weakest part of the game actually, the mix match of many genres, etc etc i got the platinum and i sold the game as soon as posible. Lets not forget the praise of 2B Butt need to say more?

I score a game after I have experienced what the game has to offer and fighting games don't offer a lot of content. This game is no different. Average story Average content Average online mode Average roster (with half of it behind a $20 paywall) Plus there is no incentive to play the game after unlocking everything in the gallery. So I gave it an average score.

So this game has the DLC character IN the game already but are charging you for them. I don't give a damn about oh like 4 or so are free if you get them in the first two weeks or whatever the comminuty had to cry out in anger at the company just for that to happen. In addtion they are still selling you half of the entire roster as paid DLC when they are in the disk already. Screw this game and the practices of the company. People say there is no excuse when others do it and boycott then you'd better follow the same here and not support it. Excuses are what you make for companies like EA and this games company so I don't wanna hear them.

Zaiko Haitsugi It's not just about EVO. Making ANY character is very costly and requires a lot of work. Making tons of sprites, programming the character, playtesting them to check the balance and if there are bugs, hiring a voice actor both in English and Japanese, making a separate tutorial and all the extra content like alternative colours or a model in the lobbies. Making a character is not an easy task, stop being so self-entitled and realise that. Plus, Team Blue already has its hands full on the rest of the roster. Do you really think they'd have time to create another character in the meantime?

For me the real problem with this game DLC is that most of the characters are just the old re-use asset with some tweak and it doesn't help that RWBY cast sprite look a lot better (because it's the newer one) at least for me. That's why it felt cheap......plus having half of the roster being DLC doesn't help. Yes, the investment is less for sure but it's still BS that half of the roster is DLC and most of the characters are nothing new (Doesn't help too if you're already play UNIEL, BB and P4A before). However, I do think the game is fun from playing the beta and a demo which is a shame that these DLC BS happened. Maybe they want to get into and cash in on EVO since the box have like EVO pick sticker or something that why this happen. I personally would wait for complete edition if they ever release it or just when they're really cheap.
