I've been so hoping for this as well, they could make some really awesome stuff too, especially if they resolve the events of the Suicide Squad game with the Justice League making it out alive, and have an older Superman still kicking around for Terry to meet after taking up the Bat-mantle, since they've made little mentions in several of the Arkham games about the blue-clad boyscout. They could continue the narrative and eventually make a side-series of the JLU storylines with Terry's Batman making an appearance, there's just so many cool places they could expand their Arkham-verse to.

The only weird thing to me was making Tim Drake Robin in A Matter of Family. It takes place right before Barbara was paralyzed, which itself happened an unknown amount of time before Arkham Asylum. It would've made way more sense for Jason Todd to be Robin in that DLC, with Tim Drake not becoming Robin until the time gap between Asylum and City, since it was implied in Asylum that Batman didn't currently have a sidekick during the events of that game.

Barbara was paralyzed a few months before asylum, and Jason was kidnapped about a year and a half to two years before asylum, however it still doesn’t make sense since Tim is considered ‘new’ in Arkham city. I don’t think they really thought the dlc through lol

@heartwings The easiest way to fix that would've been to just push back when the DLC takes place. It was pretty heavily hinted at before Arkham Knight that Batman didn't currently have a Robin during the events of Arkham Asylum, and that Tim Drake had not been Robin for a very long time during Arkham City, which both got retconned by A Matter of Family.

The concept of Batman becoming Joker has been thing in the comics long before the Arkham games existed. So no, Arkham Knight didn't inspire the creation of the Batman who Laughs. It might've helped reignite the idea, but it was never the sole inspiration.

The Batman Arkham Trilogy along with Origins are some of my all time favorite games,nailed the feeling of being Batman, the atmosphere, gameplay, story all top notch, Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill stole the show as Batman and Joker, it felt like reliving the animated series 🦇😃

Correction: Batman did not “watch joker succumb to his illness in ice cold”. He was going to save him but then joker attacked him from behind and the test tube holding the cure fell to the ground breaking into pieces. So joker died and before that Batman said “The crazy thing is that with everything he has done he would have saved him” Then he carried him outside the gates of Arkham city.

Wish Origins was part of the Return to Arkham collection. Hey, wouldn't Cold Cold Heart be before Blackgate 🤔, Harley Quinn's Revenge also got skipped 😯 Blackgate wasn't my favorite and I totally got defeated in Initiation, and it reached the point where they wouldn't let me continue and expected me to start over. I basically just do Batman Arkham Origins, Cold Cold Heart, Batgirl a Matter of Family, Arkham Asylum, Arkham City, Harley Quinn's Revenge, the Harley Quinn episode, Arkham Knight and the rest of the Arkham Episodes. The comics and animated movie sound like something to check out I was disappointed that Mass Effect's Kimberly Brooks got recast as Barbara Gordon in Arkham Knight, but still enjoyed the game

Same. I always thought the Arkham series mirrored the Nolan trilogy. Asylum revolutionized Batman in gaming like Begins, City is the middle best entry in the series and Knight is the slightly disappointing yet satisfying finale to its respective version of Batman like Rises.

im pretty sure it's explained in asylum that joker approched dr young as jack white al told her to create the titan while funding the project. But dr young realised it's wrong and cut the ties with joker. then joker got mad and took the matter into his own hands and came with the plan to take over the asylum hance the events of the game

I guess the story trailer's *obvious* opening and Easter eggs littered throughout the very same trailer connecting it further to the arkham series flew right over your head too. Not enough? Arkham Knight final Joker fight should have been made to last indefinitely. I wanna beat him up him all day. It should have been programmed to only end once you put him in the door frame of the chamber for the beatdown. But before you do you should have been able to beat him up indefinitely. I don't remember if you could or not. Could you? And it probably shouldn't have been so easy. A lil more competitive. Like have do at least a little more work to get Joker in that position to where you can beat him up all day. Have Joker fire his lapel and pull out a knife or a crowbar or something. Have him try to stuff you in the chamber or throw you over the rail. Something.

The cure was to prevent the poison from killing him (already toxin Joker blood), but the lingering affects of the toxin almost pushed him to turn into the Joker, so instead of now killing him, it slowly was turning him.
