Yeah I noticed there’s a “hooded figure” sprite for Charon and narcissus, at first I thought it was an oversight, but now that makes sense they’d need a placeholder sprite. I’m pretty early on. I’ve died to the third boss once, dies to the first boss a lot, and became weirdly attracted to the second boss. Also the darkness miniboss in the first area needs to be nerfed before I LOOSE MY MARBLES

If you’re not playing with any time restraints you can kill the smaller enemies first. Omega cast on top of em then hit it 2-3x then dash into a sprint away, rinse and repeat. He’s super annoying

The dash seconds make you 100% invincible, you xan even dash through the enemy. It takes a bit to figure out its windups but chipping at the shield is still tedious im afraid. I am semi consistently beating the last boss and this is one of my least favourite lol

Pay attention to the attacks coming in and out of the darkness. They are slow moving and can be dodged with proper planning.

When the first game's player base says the sequel is better than the first game, and said sequel isn't properly "out" yet, I think it's safe to say there's another GotY award on the way. At LEAST in music (Scylla's theme being played by the boss itself is amazing, and the songs are incredible on TOP of that)

If Narcissus remains a hooded figure I wouldnt disaprove, cause creating the most beautifull human in existence is a tall order for anyone, even supergigant that makes anyone question their sexuality on a regular basis

I kinda thought it was intentional! It kind of leaves what he looks like up to the imagination, kind of like in horror movies where not actually showing the monster is often more effective

Also, if you notice unlike charon who shares the sprite currently with Narcissus. Narcissus has a different color pallet than those who are using it as a stand in for there model.

Im adoring it so far. Theres a couple, uh, bugs, tbat have killed a few runs, sich as the "movement keys no longer work" bug that cropped up during the second phase of Chronos. But its still a great time nonetheless
