They ban you if you trade 3 of the same item within 6 months. The ban last 1 year.

Fatal Inertia was NEVER rare until the Xbox 360 games started blowing up. Had a copy in my collection for years and always saw it in stores for around 5-10 bucks.

Walmart next to my local GameStop had about 30 copies of Minecraft on ps3 for $5 during the time GameStop gave $15 credit for them so I basically always had a $10 off until I accidentally traded it in too many in the same month.

I was trade banned twice in my 10 years of having a pro account. Both times I got my account back after 3 months of temp ban. And then jun 2023 they did a full ban on my account......I have no clue why they would ban people and not work with the traders. I garage sale and thrift store for trades and GameStop just didn't want my business I guess sorry that it happened to you.

I use to trade in a lot of games I would get from pawn shops and the $0.03 Walmart games back then, I eventually got banned like you did. Its been over 3 years still banned to this day and every time I make a new account it always gets banned after the fist trade in LOL. It sucks that I have to make a new account every time I want to trade in anything. I have probably have made more than 10+ throw away accounts

I have heard from some people that if you trade in over 500$ in a month they will suspend your account I’m not sure if it’s permanent so make another account so it doesn’t slow you down

From what I have gathered in the past, you cannot trade more than one of the same item in one day and not more than four in a single month without getting a trade ban for three months. One caveat though is you can trade the same game on a different system just not the same game on the same system. So technically you could trade the PS4, PS5, and Xbox copies of street fighter 6 on the same day and not getting dinged. I think what got you was when you traded all those NES systems together.

@@rjcmedia I believe it’s only for three months as I said though. I caught a ban a while back with all the three cent games that I picked up from Walmart. I’m usually pretty good about keeping track of how many I’m trading, but I lost count on one game and got dinged.

Yes I use to work at GameStop there is a limit on trade ins either by a week maybe a month yeah they will never help

That game shop in chino is great! Owner will work with you if you haggle with him a bit. Gotten dragon quest XI to 25 when he was asking 35. Good deal.

Started to warn you from the last video to not trade in more than 1 of the same item at the same GameStop location. I got trade banned for 8 months for trading in 4 sensor bars at once when they were getting $9 credit.😮

@@rjcmedia yeah They have weird algorithms in their cpu to stop thieves. They had issues from ppl selling stolen cellphones & tablets years ago & have never corrected the system. So I’m told

A ps4 grail and a Xbox 360 grail. That I call a good week. As for GameStop you can’t trade more than one of the same item at a store without that crap happening. Call CS back and talk to a manager, it’s most likely a three month ban.

Fatal inertia, hells vengence, wet, and a few more are spiking because the 360 store is closing and other youtubers like Mr. Wright Way have been making fomo videos on 360 games which alerts the resellers and scalpers

@E-Z_Gamerz yeah, I don't think they are solely responsible but they have to take accountability. They are influencers...they influence. You can't make videos screaming "GO BUY THESE NOW BEFORE ITS TOO LATE!" With a thumbnail of a panic face and then sit in your car and say you don't create some form of fomo. But yeah find the games while you can because all the ones wright way mentioned have spiked like crazy. And he can deny it all he wants and insult your mother before blocking you but sales for those games didn't get crazy til after his video

I said F*** it I’m going to make my own videos, I’ll show values but won’t say go buy this now!!! looking at 6 months to a year ban from trading to gamestop. you can take a friend or family member and they can trade for you. that's your only option till they lift your ban
