I mean, are we the enemy? We are all really just trying to do are jobs. I get joking around about how we don’t give as much for trade ins as people want (we don’t really make any money off of new games or systems so to stay afloat as a company, GS makes their profit in preowned sales via trade ins), but this is kinda stupid. No one is like this. The only people who hate GameStop more than the customers who think their stuff is worth more than it actually is, are GameStop employees themselves. Honestly, corporate kinda makes some iffy decisions and other stuff that make my coworkers and fellow advisor across the country kinda mad. I’ll reserve my feelings for job security purposes.

ngl I went to gamestop just the other day, at least the one near my house. There was 1 employee working there at that moment and I was the only customer, she was honestly really nice and helpful, we joked, she made no attempts to tell me any deals and when I mentioned I was looking to buy a switched she told me the prices for used and new and suggested a few things like a carrying case, screen protector, and controller when I mentioned I'd be getting smash bros (and when I said I might get the controller another time she didn't try and push it). Honestly, it was a rather pleasant experience and I left the place with a smile on my face
