is there a way to keep decky installed? it seems anytime steamdeck updates it disappears and its really inconvenient to hop back over to desktop especially on the go.

Never update steam deck before decky itself. Never update steam os. Update decky and all plug-ins first

Hmm, HLTB doesn't work for me. Reinstalled it and there are no updates. Same with PauseGames or what it's called ..

So my Deck would not boot beyond the Steam logo, I reflashed my image and came back here to find some plugins I forgot about, HLTB is now no longer available.. I am wondering if maybethatwas causing an issue and they removed it for now? Anyways, great Video! :D

HLTB is actually done in general. Its been removed from other apps as well and the database isnt accessible. Dont think its coming back

Hi so it looks like after an update, my Decky loader bricked so I said fine I’ll reinstall it. Once I decided to do so, I go to put in my password and every time I do it tells I put no password in. What else do I need to do. I’m so annoyed

@@andresmiranda8729 unfortunately no I didn’t. It’s fine tho. Steam is now letting you record games and its Deck verified so I’m not worried lol thank you tho

So I just recently noticed I no longer have decky loader, it looks like it disappeared after an update so do I just keep reinstalling it every time that happens? Is that doing anything bad or am I going to end up with multiple copies on my internal SSD? Should I be clearing them out or is it fine to just keep redownloading them after updates make decky loader disappear? Also if I do redownload it will it still have all the applications I initially had downloaded or do I also need to redownload those. Thanks in advance for anyone who sees this and answers!

If the superdepth3d shader worked with the reshade plugin that would save me a ton of hassle. It would have to be an injector I suppose.

Just because its asking doesnt mean you made one. However some stuff requires it so it will ask either way. Go into desktop mode and create an easy one you will remember

Decky loader pretty much just broke my usb c and may be the cause to my battery not charging now. Currently recalibrating the battery. Good times 😢😅
