Thanks for your videos! Just wondering, if Angelica had a negative terminal payoff (i.e. payoff from permanent disagreement), can Tommy make a negative offer in equilibrium?

By the rules of the game, Tommy is constrained to only making non-negative offers. So, in short, no.

Thank you...but if this were not the rule of the game such that any offer x,y ∈ [-c,12], where c>0, and say there is a dis-utility from not consuming cookies, then would it be feasible to make a negative offer? I guess my question is: can a negative offer be feasible in any bargaining context if its part of the rules, particular when there exists a negative outside option or terminal payoff?
