It feels like Planet Explorers with a somewhat Subnautica creature art style. It looks promising, but I can't help but feel like this will be one of those games that looks great, but has a bunch of bugs then gets abandoned like a year in.

Bossa Nova was making an Early Access game called Worlds Adrift that was shut down in 2019 due to lack of funds to retain development, and difficulty retaining players due to really unbalanced pvp focused gameplay. It was quite a bit into development at that point, graphics were a bit rudimentary but movement and performance wise it was very stable. In fact while the main game is delisted the "Worlds Adrift Island Creator" is still on Steam for free and you can experience running around and using the (very fun and smooth to use) grappling hook. So as this game is clearly made out of the game that was once World's Adrift its already got quite a few many years of development behind it, as well as performance and bug passes. Not saying your prediction won't necessarily come true, but it's a game that isn't made "from scratch" but recycled from a failed open world survival mmo.

This is worlds Adrift relived. I'm in. But I lost my second in command... she'd be so mad.

Mix between No Man's Sky and Destiny? Animations look a bit rough and stiff, cautiously curios about this game.
