Booster Course Wave 5 for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is here, and we’re checking out All Changes and differences made for the returning courses. The second race of the Feather Cup is GCN Daisy Cruiser. Taking place aboard a luxury liner on the open sea, this track features a swimming pool with the likeness of the Princess of Sarasaland, split paths with winding decks topside and a cargo hold turned aquarium below, and a lavish dining room with tables that slide from rolling waves. Oof daisy removing the liveboats in MK8D, thats definitely a huge safety violation. if the ship crashes into something that causes it to sink. No one will have anywhere to get to safety. They will all be stuck doomed to go down with the ship.

I love Daisy Cruiser! ^_^ It's one of my most favorite race tracks in the 'Mario Kart' games! Especially since Daisy owns it, and it's themed around her! I hope to go on a cruise ship one day, so I can pretend that I'm on board her cruise ship! :D

Does anyone else realise that this is probably Daisy’s best year since the end of the GameCube era? Not only do her two best courses return in the same year, that being Daisy Cruiser earlier in the summer and Daisy Circuit coming at the end of the year, but we also get her first canon mainline playable appearance in Mario Wonder. And no, I don’t consider Mario Run to be canon since it’s never referenced in other Mario media before or since.

Remember how in Mario Super Sluggers the Glooper Blooper would grab and tilt the ship? What if Nintendo added that feature to a future Daisy Cruiser remake? Maybe when Glooper Blooper grabs the ship, the track would go into anti-gravity. It’s not much but an interesting thought nonetheless.

We're on the third video for Wave 1, but that's on hold while Wave 5 is addressed. It's taking longer that previous waves because of how work on them is being regulated.

12:51 I've been curious as to whether that was ever a shortcut or not. I'm guessing you had to break the through the doors with a mushroom or some kind of item-based technique, and I'm also guessing it was removed since either breaking the doors was too hard to animate or there was nothing preventing everyone from just taking this much shorter route. It's a shame they scrapped it and cut the hallway from every other version. I would love to see a version of the track with the unused route.

I hope the next mario kart introduces a little more grit to the game. The level remakes aren't bad and i think they introduce aome cool stuff the originals dont have but it feels like the edges really got rounded off in these newer titles, and when I see the level remakes that's as clear as day
