I do! Still play it from time to time (as well as my Wii U). Unfortunately, I didn’t exactly have Internet access for the thing back in the day, and once I did, I only got a few games (Paper Mario and Smash 64 definitely being highest priority). Wish they at least made purchases temporarily available, but it’s nice to see them do this at all.

Imagine they make a Wii Tu console (basically N64 + Gamecube + Wii + Wii U + Switch + whatever next in one box) - The tablet is able to run games but only in 720p - A switch can be used for this gamepad feature and u just download an app for it - The box plays games in 4K - The box can run all the time - You can play over the internet - Games like GTA 5 comes on the box - Unlimited 4G streaming could be a thing?

Agreed, I think if my theory from last time was correct since Nintendo mentioned they were building more buildings near their HQ. I think they're creating more servers, that way and hopefully they can bring back the Wii and DSI internet. The same could happen with the Wii U and 3DS as well

Now people can redownload their old purchased Virtual Console titles and WiiWare games that are super close to becoming lost media! probably just to defend their rights. They would not do it otherwise. These days 99% of Wii's are probably hacked, cracked and modded I own multiple Wii's. Some of which cant use the DVD as it broke. But I saved the ISO to USB then and now i can play. Btw, it should be some modder who makes remote play for wii. Should be possible ... idk

Tbh, the purchasing services are probably gone, but the downloads are still available And it’s pretty easy to tell that, with the Wii and DSi returning to the way they were before full shutdown(download, no buy) that the Wii U and 3DS will go the same way.

I wish 2023 was 2003 so I could have the Nintendo Wii 🕹️ shop. I just want to fill up all of my windows on my Nintendo Wii console with Awesome 👍🏿 old 🗝️ brew hard to get old games. Sega Master system was great 👍🏿 Super Nintendo was great the Nintendo 64 was great 👍🏿 turbo graphics16 was great 👍🏿 Neo Geo and maybe some Sega Genesis Mega Drive classes also. I have always wanted to add games to my windows in the Wii menu. But could never get it hooked to the internet no matter how hard I tried. And now they're not supporting the shops anymore for the Wii channel. Sony psx would also be great to have on the Nintendo Wii 🕹️🎮.

The only thing that sucks about this is that purchases are tied to Wii consoles, so if you broke your Wii and got a new one you're out of luck unfortunately. Luckily I brought everything over to my Wii U that still works.

They already planned in advance to axe the mii system for other people similar to mii when talking about their plans for the next wii sports title whatever title it was going to be in the future. I did not save any of the links with them talking about the information because it was found when people likely had no idea that they were even talking about it in the first place.

It was not even mentioned inside of Nintendo Power that they already fully finished all of their required interviews early, and were already selling them in advance of the game comings out. We had them so early that we honestly were unsure on how to even put inside the sleeve at first. They were told not to talk about it publicly, thoguh. Somehow we had legally acquired at least 5 of them each prior to the game actually coming out. We were even wondering how exactly they were going to be eventually used as well. They stated that made certain that the next game would be compatible with the next improvement that would be made in the future. I even tested it to make sure that it works, and it works perfectly fine with no problems occurring at all whatsoever. They are probably not allowed to talk about the fact that they sold the stuff for the game early before they actually released the game, so you might just have to take my word for it. People were definitely staring at us. They were told very strictly on how talk about the situation publicly.

There's no retail games on the Wii and DSi eshops so no risk of someone buying a physical copy to replace the digital, and I'm pretty sure anyone who was willing to hack their consoles would've done it long ago, losing access to the option to redownload something they haven't played in years wouldn't push someone over the edge like this
