Booster Course Wave 2 for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is here, and we’re checking out All Changes and differences made for the returning courses. Last up in the Propeller Cup is Sky-High Sundae, which has since released for Mario Kart Tour. Boasting a colourful frozen dessert motif, it’s a race taking place above the clouds, with related shops, a freezer-themed ice cream parlour, and a giant sundae. For the music comparison I like to think that Tour is the calmer "Be careful! Don't fall!" type while 8DX is the ecstatic "Get out there and wreak havoc!" type.

MK8D's Sky-High Sundae Music is one of the best Track Songs in Mario Kart if you ask me. It goes harder than you'd expect for sure

Am I the only one who can’t spot a difference between both versions of the track’s music? All I can tell is that 8 Deluxe just sounds more surrounding while Tour sounds compressed. Any thoughts?

@@timmyvee8213 Tours sounds less eccentric to me, though the tracks look mostly the same and for the most part, the music follows the same beat, it's just that the Tour Version of the music is slightly lower tempo and such, still fun but MK8's Variation is better. Not a huge difference.

Tour version of the music got nerfed i hated that music in tour they did terrible job nerfed it

I personally enjoy the Switch version, but I do wish that there were several fixes to make this track much more enjoyable. The Tour version was alright, and the rails being able to be tricked off is rather cool. Also, if the course itself changed every lap, I’d really like that!

I think MK8D is way better the music sounds like galaxy music in Deluxe and the visuals/graphics obviously better in deluxe. The visuals/graphics in tour look much darker to me it looks bleh

I'm really not a fan of this track in 8 Deluxe and Tour. In 8 Deluxe it feels like a floaty Excitebike Arena which I'm not a fan of as Excitebike Arena is already boring and the floaty physics make it even more boring in my opinion. It does have a cool shortcut at the end however (I think) it's only faster on 200cc which is a bit of shame. I wish it was also faster on 200cc. In Tour it's basically just Excitebike Arena but more colourful lmao
