Some quick notes because the video missed some things. Metal Gear Solid 3's rerelease came with metal gear online this was the first iteration of the online series. MGS4 standard release gave us Metal Gear Online 2 which, as name indicates, was the sequel that lasted till 2012 but is brought back now through savemgo.com Metal Gear Solid V the phantom pain gave us Metal Gear online 3 which was the footage he was using to describe metal gear online 2

Very, very nice Video. My opinion to Metal Gear Survive is that it may become a good game, but a bad Metal Gear. And i think that the MGS fans just have to ignore the name and see it as a complete different game.

I want to know, why David hayter was not asked to reprise his role as snake but got Sutherland instead in phantom pain. I couldn't play the damn thing anyway. The game didn't feel right.

dancing in The dark Well you’re missing out. Once you get into the Phantom Pain, it gets TOO GOOD. Much like how Peace Walker worked but BETTER. Also Snake has very limited lines so I didn’t really feel much difference. About Hayter, apparently Kojima never really liked his interpretation of Snake. He even tried to replace him before during MGS3’s developement and had him reaudition for the role. But no one was better than the man himself. His popularity’s what kept him away from getting ditched by Kojima earlier. But hey, one installment without Hayter with like less than 50 lines total isn’t so bad compared to having him go since Snake Eater.

I agree that it does feel different. It's probably my favorite game to play at the moment, but it's just the truth ending that kinda changes the atmosphere, and the "feeling" of the entire game. Don't get me wrong, I think the plot twist is awesome, but it makes MGSV feel like a spin off rather than a sequel. But hey, this is my opinion.
