The secret to defeat Sam in the first mission is when he says he'll let you have the first hit he's being serious. Just stand perfectly still and he will do nothing. He'll eventually start walking menacingly towards you but still won't attack you. After awhile this times out the section and you pass the fight without taking any damage.

About the first Sam encounter, if you keep managing to crack monkey dash light attack him endlessly and dodge his attacks/glowing yellow grabs/counters, you can keep him from hitting you until the scene automatically passes into the next part. Similarly, if you play the one arm section well enough you can do it until it auto passes when he swings at you even when he doesn’t hit you.

Playing through this game normally, beating Senator Armstrong was an insane challenge for me. I did it eventually, but it took many tries, a short break from the game, and my in-game health being almost completely drained on my sucessful attempt. I couldn't imagine trying to beat this game without taking any damage, every boss fight was a challenge. You never fail to impress. Adventures in London.

The fun part about MGR is that higher difficulties (very hard and revengeance) that unlock after completion are easier to no-damage because the parry has an insane damage boost. You can skip the entire boss fight stages with it.

One small thing is that every time an enemy goes to attack it flashes that is almost always red but when it's yellow it is an attack that cannot be blocked. Just that nice video man
