Swifty, I work for the University of Michigan and I work in the Production house here. I build video's for a living. I build live broadcast videos using switchers like you are looking for and also non linear videos for marketing and other things. I have just built an entire studio focused on SDI connections. I can't link here, because of youtube, what switcher we used but it will more than accommodate your gaming house. Cost is 4K. If you like message me on youtube and I can explain.

If you an afford it, Swifty. I would really recommend separating your "Gaming House" from your actual home. It'll push you to a more regular schedule, and force you to change locations to do things. Kinda like having a "job" so to speak.

TriCasters are good... but expensive... I think there is an opensource solution you can build for cheaper.. I would love to have a tricaster, as I want to build my livestream similar to yours! Love your setup

Swifty, I use the Tri-Caster for my work (Cable News), and you really don't need it. If you were to get it, it would be incredibly overkill.

Hey Swifty, I work at a TV station and we use the TriCaster in our studios to stream our shows. A while ago I tried to use it to make a championship game transmission from League of Legends, which we were organizing in town. But it wasn't possible, it seems that there are two versions of TriCaster, one in resolution up to 480p (ours) and another version in HD (More expensive). The quality of the broadcast is terrible when you are using up to 480p. Please, thumbs up so he can ready it. Thx ;) .

I play airsoft every sundays and we all own Walkie-Talkies , we are 15 members, every1 was their guns and granades , etc, but you should really try in forest or apartments, playing in a space like that is booring, because always the same, on forest, every week its different because of rain/wind, its really cool and sounds like a real war.

Swift how are you handling the rules and regulations for those coming to the house to stay? Because you can't be to careful now days, just suggesting maybe if you do not have already get legal papers wrote up that they have to sign so it excludes you in all responsibilities from the parties. That way if something happens you are not responsible because they signed a waiver. =)

lol i work in the audiovisual industry and u want to buy a "portable channel tv" D: The tricaster is used on little tv shows and streams like medium/big events, it cost a lot of money, not so much but ur getting close to be a tv channel with that, say bye to xplit, u can do chroma effects and everything u can imagine, have fun if u buy it, but if u need help, call me to be ur director :) haha

Tri casters are what we used in a television studios or also known as a switcher for multi camera production..I dont see what use it has for you...and as you know now they cost a fortune . is it really gonna be worth all that money?!
