Not sure if you’ve already played it. It’s a half step outside your wheelhouse, but have you played ‘Expeditions: Rome’? It’s a great game, great story, great tactical combat, it dabbles in army warfare, the weakest part of the game, but I think you might enjoy it overall.

Beta tester on Field of Glory Kingdoms. Superb medieval strategic simulator. I have had a huge amount of fun and been playing it over and over. Highly recommended.

I'm so excited for Field of Glory Kingdoms. The added on battles via the Medieval game aren't necessary, and honestly from what I've played of Medieval (also a great game) would stretch your campaign time out SO much. I feel like it's a lil bonus, and no where near necessary. Best way to explain FoG Empires and Kingdoms I'd say is more or less Crusader Kings without the RPG and more a boardgame style with how the decadance (I think it's still called that) mechanic works. I had never heard about Sea Legend until I saw it pop up on Steam's Discovery queue, and when I looked at the forums it did not fill me with hope haha. One to keep an eye on I guess.

The thing I like about games like Warno is at the ground level they look absolutely amazing. The thing I don't like is there is so much going on and so much to manage, you rarely see the ground level.

Note: you can play tactical battles in Kingdoms. You have a choice to auto-resolve or to play a tactical battle. The third option is to play a battle in FoG 2: Medieval if you have the game.

Yea, I only looked at NA very superficially but I do recall a lot of issues in development and especially regarding community management and sortta how gamelabs did or didn’t say what they were doing with the game vs expectations.

Im xited for all and any of these, but if you find yourself wanting to just do something while waiting for a new release, I've always been a fan of your Civil War series's, in fact I think (maybe?) your GT The Civil War was the first stuff of yours I watched

FoG Kingdoms best compares to FoG Empires set in medieval times. If it is, anywhere, near as good as that release...brace yourself.

Empires is a very underatted game in my book, solid core gameplay upon which the devs can expand in Kingdoms
