Sell the wood if you aren’t building ships. If you have that many muskets sell some of those too. The wagons only produce as many as you need take up too many resources and you’ll lose selling. You don’t need that much coal or saltpeter. Crank up ur ammo production. You don’t have a navy but that would help with the economy.

You have a lot of troops that could get their level up graded in the New York area at the start. Maybe that would help you out.

Alternatively, you could use Fabian tactics and shadow the forces in the south while taking the war to them in the north, where you can concentrate forces and ensure you are not attacked in your rear while losing in the south. Taking those places would also be a boost to your reputation and economy, at least in theory. No reason to attack the enemy’s strength when you can weaken them elsewhere. It makes sense strategically. Just a thought.

Seems like a mistake to send so many troops west rather than for the defense of NY. All avaliable forces should be sent to the area. Only garrisons should remain elsewhere.

These massive army dumps and random troop dumps around the map I'm not 100% sold on. When these massive forces take over territory your building in does this cancel out your construction altogether in said locations?

No, it doesn't. Fwiw, it's not meant to be easy to win independence from the most powerful nation in the world. I like the challenge. Though I do have to load a previous saved game from time to time.

Its trying to be historical since in real life these “massive troop dump “ happened all the time. The British landed 32,000 men at New York at the beginning of the New York campaign. Later another 8000 came from the Canada . And from my understanding, American also get these troop dumps from France and Spain later in the game as well.

@@tharathamrongnawasawat8057yup, France saved my bacon by landing 4k men right before another UK invasion force landed. I wouldn't have been able to contain it without them. I think I only got 8K from them in total.

So is this going to be the final map expansion for this version or there's going to be a couple more in this version or in future for other campaigns mainly the British side (meaning they're going to show eventually all the 13 colonies as well as a chunk of eastern North America essentially from Nova Scotia all the way to the Gulf?)

The map expands again next year for the Philadelphia Campaign, and then a year or so after that it expands as the British begin to deploy more resources in the Southern colonies. Map Expansion Dates New England - Starting Map Hudson River Valley / Ticonderoga Campaign - June 1st 1775 Canada Expansion - August 1st 1775 New York Campaign - August 12 1776 Philadelphia Campaign - June 15th - 1777 Full Map/Southern Campaign - June 20th 1778

The current version has the American campaign completed (all colonies eventually are available). More of the map opens up as time passes. I'm at 1779 and entire map is opened up and most of the fighting is now down in the South.

If you gather your forces and leave minimal in areas of low loyalty, you should have enough to stop the invasion. Take fort Clinton as a base for troops. Don't worry about the interior, they don't have that many troops there. Gather/ Raise your forces at Ft Clinton, New York City, New Haven, and Hartford Cede Hempstead at this time pull the forces to NYC. Try to meet the invasion troops before they can get across Long Island to the mainland. That narrow passage is your savior allowing your smaller # of troops to win. STOP the NYC invasion is your #1 priority.

they should create a vanguard and rear guard system for your army movement on the map. make the army move like a snake/train with whichever unit you select as the vanguard at the head and the rearguard at the back. would help with movement and probably make it more realistic to how armies functioned back then instead of your three mini armies moving chaotically around each other

Hello Bro im desperate There was a strategy android game i played in 2017-2018 i played it once and forgot it's name and im down trying to remember it's name I remember that they used bread gems and (hand claps) as in game currency The game is about building your one town and attack other bases in a campaign mod And i believe that you were able to choose one unic troop in order to control in the battlefield I don't remember if it was online or not Please if you ever heard of it im desperate to find it

correct me if I'm wrong but weren't there military academy cadets who were in their 3rd and 4th yearswho were assigned like Platoon level elements? I think I remember reading that somewhere.

I use my Streamdeck with sumermacros to deal with a lot of the repetitive clicking and selecting in this game. There is a huge amount of repetition that hurts my hands, like selecting guns and stuff.

You’re wasting 100 muskets per regiment with the supply stretchers. This is why things are getting closer than you would like when before they were easier. You only need 1 or 2 max per army.

Want the whole deal with Benedict Arnold that he Wanted to be the hero of the revolution ? And as long as he was that he was brilliant ? It was when he got sidestepped he turned. So as long as he gets to play the big dog you should be good, if there's any mechanic in the game regarding him.

@@davidstansbury9309And he wasn’t promoted to Major General over officers who he was senior over they were promoted over him. However that wouldn’t have happened if he didn’t disobey Gates orders at Saratoga and demand that congress promote him for his victory. Yes he caused the victory but he did so when ordered to stay at camp so he basically disobeyed a direct order from his commanding general and congress didn’t want a senior general who didn’t follow orders like he was supposed to. He basically lost his seniority because of Congress and he was mad at Washington because he didn’t defend him from Congress. Washington also didn’t defend him from trial when Arnold was the Military Governor of Philadelphia after the British abandoned it to move back to New York. In Arnold’s mind Washington and Congress betrayed him.

The AI in war games isn’t “bad” pretty much ever, at least on default difficulty and above. What it is is a program, which means it always reacts the same way. Eventually we just learn to manipulate it. Every general in history has won the battle once they’re able to predict their opponent and basically direct both sides.
