The same thing has occured with the Gather Troops event, but it's listed in the Maple Syrup Festival Preview under Other Events, yet it's time slot was replaced the last two event cycles by "War Preparation event".

If you were to swap Boudica for Isaac you would lose about 60Atk, 67Def, 152HP for mounted, but you would gain about 181Atk 88Def, 64HP for ground, and you would gain 17Atk, 38Def, 44HP, for ranged/siege. That's based on full ascension, specialties, covenant, and level 30 generals. Their growth rates are very similar so you shouldn't see those numbers change much as you increase their levels.

If you Have a seige setup now, he is a great option to switch too once your seige is gone. Put ground and cav flat hp on him with extra civ gear to defend with. Very solid option. I have Dewey and shinegaru to start and when my high level seige are gone pop this guy in as main and Dewey as assistant. Will defend like a champ. Thoughts?

I got this new guy Isaac Brock, will test him out in BoC tonight before CoC tomorrow. Also his skill works together with Queen B which is awesome for me who are ground and mounted heavy. I will test this couple at BoC tonight and see if they are anything to invest in, but when I had Queen B and Leonidas and looked at my Monarch info and the stats there showed way lower than when I used the new Broccoli guy as assistant. The new guy gives at my end 20% higher defense for ground and mounted in the monarch details than Leonidas. Will be interesting BoC tonight... 😮 * If it works well, then I tweak him for CoC tomorrow after the BoC today. // Best Regards, Patrick

@@gamingaddictswithgenghis We've had the two glory events for a while where it increased the amount of troops revived by SoL by 40%, but this one is brand new (to us at least) and will revive 70% of all troops killed after svs ends, that's a pretty huge incentive to people who want to have a go for wings etc but don't have anywhere near enough SoL to take risks normally.

The generals are worth coining for if you use them and need to get them to 5 red stars when they not available in the tavern.

This is supposedly the last chance to get Napolean Prime. But this is also the first ever event where 2 generals can be grabbed with Glory General tokens. But there's an hidden catch, that I'm sure it isn't coincidence...whether we choose Isacc or Napolean to use the Glory tokens, the Premium tokens have only Isacc with the 16% chance to get. So in practice only Glory tokens (=more money on packs) can be used to get Napolean...and I've the feeling (=I'm certain) that they will make as harder as possible to get Napolean (=more packs to buy) 👌

Yeah, so much for finishing Napoleon. When they actively subvert planning and saving, I think that sends a signal to the kind of players who play Evony. I don't know how many people without management skills but with loose money Evony thinks are out there to tap, but if they keep dis-incentivizing smart play, they'll lose a lot more smart players.

I had jedwinga fully ascended and my defense was ok I switch to boudica she is also fully ascended and it's made a big difference! Losing 2.3m on a attack and they lose upwards of 250m also with her I don't need to ghost my t14 mounted any longer. Not sure why this is but I will take it.

The title confuses me. Isaac is compatible with Leonidas! That pair makes an excellent Ground Defensive team for your Wall to decimate Ranged attacks on your Keep. Also buffs your Mounted and Ranged too.

Don't forget that this event is also Napoleon if you swipe to the right on the glory summons. Last chance to get your Napoleon max ascended before he leaves forever

EVONY has repeatedly released type-generals in a sequential series of progressively "slightly better than the last event" general offering. The previous defensive generals go-around, EVONY released Leonidas I > Leo III > William Marshal during the Fall of 2021. So I fully expect the same > first the just released Leonidas ground replacement > followed by the Leo III troop/Siege replacement > then the Marshal in-city troop defense/HP replacement.

😂 hilarious Brock was the first Gen I got when I upgraded my champion and got 2 premium Gen tokens. Ugh. And I got hit by a k40s in BOG with ground troops, they killed my cavs and my ground, but not my ranged troops. I don't want a ground troop buffing wall gen. Thank God for the T1 wall.
