Its weird but I actually like the muffled one better. Its wonky sound balancing sounds better. It sounds more like a dance beat than this, the balanced version is much harder.

The club scenes in Andromeda are hollow compared to the ones in the original trilogy. I suppose it’s meant to feel like that as they’re hardly established but idk, they just lack imagination

Honestly aside from the final "party" on the crashed Hyperion, I think it made things fit better. They can't replicate the quality of a couple hundred year old bar on the capital of the galaxy in a po-dunk outpost that's starved for basic supplies, but it's natural behavior to try and recreate it.

Jacob Jensen They could have had a bit more imagination to it, the lower decks in Kadara with that’s weird club has more imagination but again just the lay out and such is very stale and dull. But as I said, it’s probably supposed to feel like that seeing as they haven’t really established themselves

@@intotheetherambientmusic Honestly, I highly recommend it. I played the first Mass effect a TON as a kid, but didn't really understand the depth of it at that age and didn't continue with 2-3. Then faded away and played Andromeda years later cause I was free at college. Only played the Full trilogy for the first time last year. (Loved it, but I understood that trying to recreate that is like expecting each Lord of the Rings spin-off to be as good as the original trilogy. It's just unrealistic). As long as you understand Andromeda continues the world- but as a side story- I really enjoyed it. I'd compare the original 3 to a dark Star Trek feel following the same cast over time, and Andromeda to Firefly; A separate game without the main plot since they left before the Reapers were unveiled, with a more rag-tag crew trying to survive old species grudges in an only partially-civilized frontier setting.
