Is there craftable armor and weapons from the monsters like monster hunter? Because I'm always drawn to games like these, that resemble monster hunter, but the sad thing is most anime rpgs never focus heavily on the armor customization or upgrading. If the game plays amazing, has awesome skills etc but has me looking the same through the entirety of it, never unlocking awesome looking gear it really brings me down and changes my opinion on if I want to invest time into it.

Arts increases the power of your skills, the higher the arts level the more damage your Reginleiv will do, Armor Breaks' DEF debuff will be stronger, Panacea will heal more health, etc.

I played the demo on my ps4 slim and ps5 and tbh ps4 was playable even with 4 players using skills with a close to 30 fps. Its also crossplay for both consoles and you purchase both as well so you can upgrade to the ps5 later.

Just played the demo and thought it was great. The combat was really good. I just wish I could adjust the camera more than just changing the sensitivity. Separate X/Y sensitivity and acceleration toggle/slider would be great.

This is just my honest opinion! But I feel the battle system isn't that easy to pick up. I feel like there's abit of learning curve to it. But I wouldn't go as far as to say "new player friendly" Yeah you can just hack and slash. But for harder bosses you do need to learn combos. Amd that's clearly shown in the demon. Specially to get those s++ rank. But with that been said. I personally did have a fun time learning. It took me 3 days till I finally got s++ on the first 2 bosses. And im only saying that there is a learning curve to the battle system is cause I compare it to final fantasy 15. In that game all you do is just bottom bash. Avoid moves and heal. But with this. If you need to beat the harder bosses that require a time. You need to be doing the most damage from your character. BUT I STILL ENJOYED THE GAME. I WILL BE GETTING IT!!!

Because this is developed by Platinum Games. They are known for their fast-paced character-action skill based combat like Bayonetta and Nier Automata where you have to perfect timing and perform different combos to survive. You can't button mash in their games. You're going to have to git gud otherwise you'll struggle when the game gets very difficult.

I would definitely consider this game. I think you will be sold on the combat and character depth. At least for me that’s where I was sold. Not only this but we are looking at an RPG with everything upfront, the experience will last 100+ hours with tons of replay ability. P3 will definitely be good but as someone who has already played the game and has played the demo of Relink for 10+ hours and has followed the game for quite some time now I think relink will be a better decision.

I’ve watched a bunch of videos on this game, and I’m still not sure what kind of game it’s going to be. Tales of arise mixed with borderlands and a bit of monster hunter? I’m confused, I thought I read somewhere that the dev said the main campaign wasn’t going to be all that long, it was the end game that was going to be the real meat with the co-op and bosses and all that. Haven’t the devs only ever done those lame gacha mobile games? Hope official reviews are out soon I need a new jrpg for my Oled deck.
