Yoshi's island - Naval Piranha upon entering the boss room you will have a brief moment where the boss hasn't transformed, that's your opportunity to kill the boss in one hit, after you kill it kamek will attempt to transform it but realize it's been defeated and just says "OH, MY" and fly away. suprised you guys didn't mention that

In Bravely Default, you can activate the "Bravely Second" feature to stop time and remove the damage cap. Using a trusty Phoenix Down kills a zombie boss before anyone even technically takes a turn.

Funny thing, If you simply aim away and cast allure, both the Capra Demon and the two dogs will all become distracted and start attacking it, this leaves an opening to simply throw a firebomb and murder both dogs, then the demon itself is not much of a challenge once alone.

The hardest part of the fight using the "easy" way is running up the stairs and killing the dogs. If the dogs are down and you're above the arch and at that moment he isn't doing a jump attack towards you, then the fight is already over. With this method, getting between the dogs and the capra demon is the toughest bit.

my guess is that Ancient Wyvern was designed to be beaten in that way, even the dev's comments show you that. Kapra demon is in a spot where you can hit him with grenades behind the fog, so it can be easier. Ceaseless Discharge on the other hand is not, it was a hidden method for a long time. There are a lot of bosses like this. Some examples from the older games I grew up with. Metal Gear Rex: MGS1 - Instead of shooting it out with Liquid and dodging behind crates, simply run between the Metal Gear's legs. This puts you behind its vision cone, and Liquid will start whining that he can't see you. Now aim your stinger at the bottom of its chin and fire away. This counts as hitting the cockpit, so you'll deal the same damage. Frank Horrigan: Fallout 2 - I don't mean hacking the turrets nearby or talking his squad into betraying him (although those help). Sneak up as close as possible and initiate combat before he sees you, then run up right next to him. He will never draw his plasma cannon and will instead try to punch you, which will do no damage if you're wearing Enclave armor. Hit him in the head repeatedly with a Mega Power Fist and you'll drop him quickly if you have a high Unarmed skill. Shao Kahn: Mortal Kombat 3 - Run right at him, jump over his head, then turn around and kick him in the back of the head. All of his attacks will miss completely, and he'll fall for this every single time. SHODAN: System Shock 2 - Every fan knows this, but it requires preparation. Conserve all the ICE-picks you collect (there are only 4 in the game) and use them on the terminals controlling her shields. Then use AP or EMP attacks on her core. Jerec: Dark Forces 2 - Normally every time you weaken him, he'll run into the tower to heal himself, and you'll have to stop the statues from sealing him in or he'll kill you instantly. You can prevent him from fleeing by dueling him on the closed sides of the tower and luring him into the alcove with the powerup. Now when he runs, he'll get stuck on the side of the tower, and you can put away your lightsaber and just shoot him in the back.

IMHO, there should be at least an honorable mention about: 1. Frank Horrigan, the final boss from Fallout 2. Be default, he is the so-called "bullet sponge", can cause major damage, and has several stationary minigun turrets to back him up. A fight, that is without a doubt the most challenging in Fallout 2, especially for "lone wolf" characters. However, if you are able to get your hands on Presidential Access Key, which would allow you to set the turrets to attack Frank Horrigan instead, and be able to convince Sergeant Granite to use his squad to help you in a fight against Horrigan (Speech skill check), then things will be much, much easier. 2. Gunther Hermann and Anna Navarre, bosses from Deus Ex. If you discover Harmann's and/or Navarre's kill switch phrase, and recite a correct phrase in front of Hermann and/or Navarre, it will trigger his/her self destruct mechanism, causing almost instant death.

Delilah in Dishonored 2 is ridiculously easy, too. After entering the mirror, immediately turn right and climb (hop?) down to ground level. Go to the back corner and climb the rock as high as you can. She's perched on top, ripe for a stealth takedown.

here's a bonus for ya'll: Volgan(i think his name was) Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. when you're in combat with him the first time, equip the handkerchief and use it in front of him. run in a circle and repeat. its chlorine on it, so he'll be knock'd out. you'll get the handkerchief from under a table in the locker room where you get the disguise that is bound to the story.

Dark Souls 3: Nameless King. It's supposedly the most difficult boss in the game. When fighting the nameless king himself: equip the Dragonslayer Shield, stay close to him, keep blocking (while keeping an eye on your stamina)and just time your attacks.

In the same vein as #5, the Final Fantasy VII boss Gi Nattak is a zombie, so a single X-Potion will inflict the full 5500 damage for a one-shot kill. As a bonus, you can find two X-Potions in the caves where you find this boss. Also in FFVII, the boss Jenova:LIFE uses exclusively Water-element attacks. So if you equip a character with the Water Ring you'll find shortly before this battle, you literally cannot lose the fight.

Oh, I have one, the Tentacles in Final Fantasy VI. They are pretty damn easy to defeat when you know how: Use Edgar´s Bio Blaster at the very beginning of the battle. Then focus all your attacks on the only tentacle that is inmune to poison status. Grab the popcorns and enjoy the view of the boss crumbling into pieces.

I'm thinking the Shield Golem in Malicious. If you only fight it by smashing its head, it's going to use up a ton of time. Instead, smashing the four platforms and the two sets of stabby bits on it depletes its health by more than half, after which it's a bit more simple to smash it to bits.

I saw a cheese for the Capra Demon once - you just have to stock up on firebombs and find the right spot BEFORE you enter the fog gate. With a bit of aim you can throw firebombs in the boss are without even entering the fight and kill him off easy. There's also a cheese for the Ceaseless Discharge.

I was so frustrated playing against him the first time that when I had to redo it on the harder difficulty, I was so annoyed to find out just standing in his face, letting him grab me, breaking free, and shooting the nearest sack was the easiest option. Pretty much everything you said about Evrae Altana. It can't only be harmed by healing items, normal attacks work well, as do some magic, it has weaknesses and strengths just like any other boss. It doesn't die from 2 Phoenix Downs AND 2 X-potions, it's can die from 2 Phoenix Downs OR 2 X-potions. Its health is over 10000 so it only needs 2 of either item.

In Gen 1 Pokemon, you can use a back door on the Nugget Bridge to catch a Mew at L1, and with one battle if it doesn't earn too many xp, it will level straight to L100, but it will still follow orders. Now even its basic attack should be able to one-shot everything, but if that isn't enough for you, use TMs to teach it Psychic, Swift, Softboiled, and probably an elemental attack, and it can solo the entire Elite 4 + Rival without any healing items.

I was expecting Gwyn from Dark Souls. You would never expect the final boss in a game like this to be parryable, but he is. This can make a really tough fight (throught the game you learn to evade enemy attacks and wait for an opening to counter attack. This boss has practically no openings and is constantly attacking, so most players have a very hard time battling him the usual way) only last like a minute or so.

Honestly a better one for the first Dark Souls game is the Ceaseless Discharge exploit: Run up to the altar and grab the armour set as normal, then run back to the fog door as fast as you can. The boss will jump after you and wind up hanging off the side of the arena. From that point, you can hit it a couple times and it'll fall into the lava below, dying instantly.

I mostly call on the Master from Fallout. It's 'easier' than fighting him, but actually getting the information you need to talk him to death is a whole nother thing unto itself. The 'speech kill' is more your reward for gathering information and having the eloquence to present it to him in a way he accepts. It's not 'easy' by any means XD

#3 - The Capra Demon is even easier than described in this video. If you run up the stairs, don't jump off; instead, there is a tiny ledge off to the right that you walk on. Hold up your shield when the Capra demon gets close and attacks. He'll fall while you're still up on the ledge where you can hit him with arrows/firebombs/dung pies/whatever. He will literally stare up at you for a few seconds, stupidly attack the area under you and then run back up the stairs again just to fall again after his single attack.

Capra Demon from Dark Souls is deemed the "new player killer" of Dark Souls, he is somwhat unfair but he can be cheesed hard, not only can he be killed from outside his boss fog wall (you traverse the fog to initate his boss fight) by throwing well placed firebombs, but that not just it. HE CAN BE ALSO KILLED USING THE SAME METHOD BUT FROM THE PREVIOUS AREA!

I found an easy way to beat the end boss in Borderlands 2 and avoid most attacks. Go to the spot the monster sits to shoot fire from and it can't hit you. (just watch out for the lava monster that spawns in) If you run out of ammo, you can smack it's legs with your gun!

I will always remember finding out the easy way to take down the rancor in the Taris Undercity in Knights of the Old Republic. Placing a grenade and something smelly in a corpse and watching the thing feed before the grenade detonates inside its stomach is much easier than lobbing grenade after grenade retreating and using blasters from a safe location.

You can also use the Twi'lek girl's stealth ability to sneak up behind it and plant mines in a straight line back. About 6 or so should do it. Then, simply get it's attention and it'll charge at you, setting off each mine. Easy win.

Same method can be used for Gerogero in FF8 that was used for Evrae Altana. However it only requires 1 X-Potion instead of 2

Minecraft wither: spawn wither into bedrock in the nether ceiling. He can't damage you while you have no problems killing him. Metal Gear Solid Rex fight: chaff grenade, 4 rockets to shoulder, chaff grenade, 4 rockets, done.

I was thinking of Naval Piranha in Yoshi's Island for the SNES, before going too far, he will be small and vulnerable. Toss an egg at it before the battle begins to instantly kill it. Kamek will show up and say "OH MY!!!"

Sooo... your suggestion to kill Capra Demon is basically to fight him normally? It's a tiny arena, there arent many other ways to do it except to use the stairs

the Capra demon can also be killed by standing outside the wall and throwing bombs Over the gate. you never have to fight him the only downside is that you'll have to continue resetting your position.

You didn't even have to interact with the Master from Fallout. Just rig the nuke and get out. The rest sorts itself out with a bang.

Where is Ceaseless Discharge (hee hee) from Dark Souls? That one blew my mind. Just taunt him to where you came in, let him attack with his hand to grab the ground, and then attack his hand. he falls to his death and that is that! Great way to get the gear he is hiding early on

For kapra demon there is an even easier way. The arch before the fog door is the spot you will want to be. All you have to do is angle your shot right, using the sight on the bow is the best way to do this, get some fire bombs out. Then start chucking. The kapra demon is spawned and fully damageable.

Always knew about The End. Both ways. There is a Similar way to take out The Fear as well. Just trow rotten food on the area. When he goes out to eat in order to recover staminna, he just loses more, making killing him a breeze, even on European Extreme.

The Fear in MGS3 is much easier, Suicide pill & revivial, and then flash grenade and machine gun will just eat away his stamina bar in 2 seconds.

Omaru1982 Thank God for that method, i really didnt like fighting him on my first playthrough as he was tedious and personally the most over the top character in the entire MGS franchise.

another method is just drop a bunch of rotten food, and trank him a few times and when he goes to replenish his stamina he will go for the rotten stuff and then throw up for a second loosing a lot of stamina and making himself an easy target, that plus thermal goggles makes him the easyest boss of the game to get a stamina kill

Sgt. Boykin always made me sad. The dude is just...shell shocked and he refuses to believe the men he's fought so long and hard with are now...dead, and died so quickly at that. He's not a complete and total psycho, he's just in extreme denial that his life has gone so wrong so quickly.

There's an even easier way to kill the Capra Demon. Throw firebombs over the fog door and kill the hounds, once dead, enter the arena and run up the stairs and onto a ledge to the right. Go all the way to the edge, wait for him to fall to the ground, then do a plunge attack. Repeat this until he's dead. How fast this goes depends on how strong your weapon his, and what buffs you use :)
