I bought this game on a whim last year and really enjoyed it. I just wish some more creepy stuff occured in the woods but the Lovecraftian elements were pretty neat and i enjoyed the characters interactions with each other.

I remember reading a manga about a group of spiritualists on an island figuring out wtf was going on. Turned out some ancient spiritualist lady was being resurrected, it was a mess. Fun comic. Wish I could remember the name.

I saw this video when it was released and I was thrilled because it's been a long time since I watched Evelien/Gab Smolders play it, then it got lost into the algorithm before I could remember which 'story explained'-like channel posted it. Glad it found its way back to me. I thought it was a thrilling gameplay, at least to watch. It felt a lot like a fever dream, especially the final fight sequence. This was a good refresher!

I just realized that there are different endings to the game after your "main plot" section of the video. I played the game but the ending you showed seemed completely unfamiliar to me. Happy to know that now, so I can watch the other endings on youtube now.

13:06 I think they got the color of cinnabar wrong. It’s more pink and white I believe. (It’s a type of stone). Ugh aquamarine isn’t that shade of blue, it’s a much lighter blue. Their blue looks more like sodalite or lapis lazuli. The green looks more like malachite. Citrine is more of a light yellow not brown. I believe red garnet is more of a maroon color. What each might help with, I’m clueless.

Honestly, when I saw that Lighthouse, without you even mentioning HP Lovecraft, I thought to myself, wait, is that based on HP Lovecraft? I've seen similar lighthouses in some of the sherlock games, in some other weird Lighthouse keeper games, and others were you travel to a remote island with a lighthouse, I think that theme has been overdone at this point and you can't quite hide it anymore that this is Lovecraft inspired.
