It´s a shame that the storytelling was so messy, this is a really interesting story to be told, and having such an important plot point (that being the actual team members we hunt down) be behind a comic made it really difficult to enjoy.

If you think about it the bendy lore is similar to the fnaf lore

Went from one of the best games I've ever played with DL1 to something as goofy as this. Not often do I regret buying a game but I have Dying Light 2 on disk forever now and idk if i can live that down.

Contracts is easily the best of the series. Very dark and just felt completely polished.

I find Outlast 2 to be an interesting entry because in the context of the rest of the series, it's a bit of a outlier. Both Outlast 1 and the Outlast trials deal with Murkhoff and the various experiements they do (and so does 2 I know but) but Outlast 2, the explanation of everything is a 'blink and you'll miss it' document you can find. Which I think was the point, the point was to experience the insanity that a Murkhoff experiment does to a person, even if the story as a whole doesn't add a lot to the overall story that is being told so far. It's kind of like Silent Hill 2 when you compare it to Silent Hill 1 and 3. As 1, 3, and even 4 deal with the various cults of Silent Hill but 2 is it's own personal story that in a way is seperate from the rest.

Meaning that in his insanity, Martin basically set Miles up to witness all the horrors of the Asylum which those events then tempered Miles to become the vessel for the Wallrider.

First of all, great video! One thing I still don't understand: what was the chronological order of: 1. Alan Wake shooting Alan Wake in the writer's room. and 2. Saga shooting Alan in the Writer's room. We only ever see Alan Wake wake up with a hurting forehead without a bullet wound (before Final Draft). Is he being sent back to the same point in both instances?

I find it interesting to see a similarity (V.E.R.S.I.O.N.) in handling PTSD by way-of sci-fi programming.

The NCR , the most powerful faction of the west which spans 5 states had been killed off screen just like the UNSC at the beginning of Halo Infinity.

This game was almost a mirror image of what Dead Space 1 offered. I think people see Dead Space as a collective whole and the over arching story not remembering that DS1 story was foundation and foundation only with sequels in mind. The game mechanics may be a little rough but this deserved a full fledged sequel
