As a lifetime Fifa player, i bought a pes for the first time in my life. Now i sadly realise Fifa stole whole those years from me... The ball physics in pes 2020 is 10 times better than any fifa i played before. Every shot you make, every goal you score feels different in Pes. I spend like 5 hours in free training mod on my first day playing pes, even that was funnier than any fifa match i played before.

I've been playing both until 2011 and from there just FIFA. Pes was shit until 2017, then 2018 they've got it right, 2019 they made a good game but this year, what happens on the pitch is pure perfection.

I slightly prefer PES (while playing both FIFA and PES). I see that PES is a little extravagant. For some people, this might mean less realism, therefore worse experience. Personally I really prefer PES because it's very rewarding if you get the perfect timing. In FIFA, the football field feels too small, and even when you take the perfect shot, while more realistic, it's not very rewarding. Not everything is perfect ofcourse. PES has mostly been copying all the game modes from FIFA over the years, and defenders let the ball go near them while they don't even try to stop it. Lastly, there is still a monopoly with the licences, so PES will always come second when it comes to team variety. Yeah, there are patches, but there are still many teams missing.

FIFA doesn't seem to be progressing much these last few years. All it has is it's cash cow ultimate team, a little better commentary and more licensed leagues, which can easily be added to PES with better quality by the modding community. It's like Apple vs Android. You get something simple and easier to use vs something much more versatile and customizable. PES is a football simulator and FIFA is an arcade experience similar to rocket league. Both are fun for what they offer, but it's time we stop trying to compare the two as their only real similarity is the type of sport involved. Konami wants to give hardcore football fans realism. EA just wants your money. Oh ya, and PES20 lite will still come out as a free version for those not able or unwilling to buy the full version.

It’s the animations that makes certain shots look better. E.g. the chip shot looks more realistic in pes. What I don’t like in Fifa is the animations in the way they move after they shoot it looks robotic and not fluid. Also the atmosphere in Fifa dosent excite me the fans aren’t loud enough wen u score and the commentators reactions to certain goals just don’t sound right. I keep saying this I want peter drury in the game the way he shouts the players name is unbelievable

PES has always been the true football game for the connoisseurs. Big up to all those that have stayed faithful to the franchise and haven't succumbed to the glitz and glamour of the sponsors and licences that FIFA have, as that is all they have. Gameplay is what it is all about and the tempo of PES this year is on point, coupled with a organic natural feel with the game mechanics I have been really immersed in the games I've played online, really looking forward to PES 2021.

I have played pes more than fifa throughout the years. Both games are very close, but now I play more fifa because their is so much you can do with fifa so that you dont get bored. With pes you get bored not enough leagues or teams to go around therefore alot of players have no clubs.With fifa you can swap teams Into different leagues and end up with Barcelona v Santos in champions league or Cruz Azul v arsenal in Europa league. You can do so much with fifa that you won't get bored. You can swap mls into sky.bet division 1 & 2 and end up having man u v Atlanta in fa cup. This makes it more fun for me. Yes pes gameplay is better but fifa is not that far behind. I bought both games and so far I am playing fifa more because of what I mentioned above regarding league structure.

These Fifa/Pes rivalry is just like Windows/Linux rivalry. People choose Fifa/Windows because its easy to use/play even tho its not that good and people choose Pes/Linux because its full customizable and better but a little bit harder to operate. Deal with it.

لعبت السنة الماضية لأكثر من 6 أشهر و لم أستطع تكوين فريق قوي إضافة إلى الحزمات و المكافآت الضعيفة.... لعبة فيفا لعبة الأغنياء فقط و ليست لعبة الأقوياء... صاحب الفريق القوي هو من يفوز بقدرة قادر... وهذا ما جعلني أندم على شرائي للعبة... إضافة إلى العديد من المشاكل في الدفاع و غياب الواقعية... كما أن بعض اللاعبين يتركون الكمبيوتر يقوم بالدفاع بدلهم خط الدفاع الخلفي و قطع الكرات كلها يتولى أمرها الكمبيوتر مما يجعل اللعبة غير تنافسية على الإطلاق أي صاحب الفريق الأقوى سيفوز حتما و هذا شيء وجب حذفه كاملا مع حذف المساعدات في التمرير و التسديد لأن اللاعبين يقومون بكل شيء فقط إضغط على الزر... عندما كنت أواجه فرق قوية حتى الإستحواذ يصبح صعبا لأن التحكم الكامل الكمبيوتر ببقية اللاعبين و تفريقه للاعبين على الملعب و حتى أنه يقوم بنفسه بغلق منافذ التمرير... يعنى كل ما يستطيع فعله الشخص مهما كانت مهاراته و قدراته التحكم بلاعب وحيد فقط أو إثنان يعني بقي ثمان لاعبين يعني أكثر من 80% يبقى عمل الكمبيوتر.... اتذكر أصدقاء لي كانو ينهزمون شر هزيمة لسوء تحكمهم في الدفاع و قلة مهاراتهم أيام بيس زمان. الآن أصبحو أسود بفضل فيفا صديقة الكمبيوتر...بصراحة بيس أفضل لعبة كرة قدم على الإطلاق... تقوم بكل شيء بنفسك و لديك تحكم كامل في الفريق... كما أنها تمنح نسخة مجانية كل سنة... تبقى لعبة ممتعة و تمنح الكثير للاعب المحترف... عكس فيفا تمنح لمن يدفع أكثر.

In pes every single player has an effect on how you play.. You can't have benteke as a striker and expect to play through balls all the time. That's why I love pes more.
