The title is missing context. In this particular occasion, Zealots' effectiveness is severely crippled by the formation of the Marines. If they were all in line formation, all Zealots would be able to engage, in the video however, most of the Zealots can't even engage, while all Marines are firing at the same time.

that's kind of the point...marines scale up really well; zealots do not. That's why protoss needs splash/AOE units to engage in large battles vs mmm, meanwhile zealots are often used in skirmishes/runbys where they are more effective.

Epic battles probably considers stim pack to be micro and when you introduce micro to one side of the battle and not the other it can completely change the outcome. For example you can stutter step 1 marauder with concusive shells to kill an ultralisk.

i just played the unit tester and ultralisks are biological armored and massive units. i missed the part that massive units are immune to slow from concussive shells.

@@stephenkrawczyk7399 Not just massive unit. Ultralisk movement cannot be stopped by any skill or effect. It is literally its skill. You can't kite speed ultra on creep with marine or marauder either

I tested a few abilities on ultralisks and other massive units. unfortunately I could not find a frenzied unit other than ultralisks to determine if it was because they are massive units or if it is the frenzied ability. all I have is the text on the abilities mentioned that says frenzy makes ultralisks immune to stun snare and mind control abilities. concussive shells is described as a slow ability instead.
