Gamma+ Dubs Vs Andis Double Magnet (Originals)

My thoughts on the new Gamma Double Magnet clipper guards.

What do you mean by your special blade for Andis zr plus ? Are they not the standard detectable blades you buy separate . Am about to buy the Andis zr plus but never knew you could use Andis magnetic guards on. Can you explain more pls . How to use guards on Andis zr plus detectable clippers ? Thanks

It seems to me the Style Craft 1.5 guard (same as the Gamma guard) cuts lower than the Wahl 1.5. I am planning to cut my hair with a Senior using the Style Craft 1.5 guard. I like the Wahl fade blade, but it seems the Style Craft guard cuts bulk better.

Does the Stylecraft / Gamma clipperd with the stretched brack that allows to open the lever to almost a #1 allows for fading between the #1 open and #2 close without a #1.5 guard? Thanks and awesome content OG!

Sorry for the delay in answering. I don't have a gamma with a stretch bracket as I'd have no use for it so I can't help with that. Do remember though that when clipper companies say that they open to nearly a #1, they are referring to the numbering system used on metal detachable blades, i.e they mean 2.4mm as opposed to 3mm for a plastic #1 guard, it's quite a difference.

You dont need a stretch bracket to blend a 1 into a 2 guard you can use the back of the guard to skip a guard with any guard.

i think the gamma dubs are the best alternative that said i still prefer andis dbl mags i feel the material is smoother going against the head where the gamma kind of rub against the head a little more roughly id say.

Yes, you're correct. I found the new Andis pack just after I posted this video and ordered it. Been trying it in the shop for a few weeks and, while it's nice to have, it's not really necessary for the fast feed fading system. Also, It makes no difference to my conclusion at the end of the video, I'd still choose the original purple double magnets. Thanks for watching. Jon
