Only one drawback with this dryer, the stationary nosle ! One of the first features I look for when shopping for a new dryer! Of all the reviews I’ve seen You are the only one that caught that very important detail ! Best review so far! Thanks!

You said it JP. I was in the salon supplier last week and noticed that diva have brought out a similar hairdryer for half the price. And with the magnetic nozzles. 😭😭😭 Typical. 😂

@@theoneminutebarber I am in Quebec Canada. Your message is 4 years ago. I am looking for a hair dryer that is lightweight and not noisy. No choice with my health condition... I have fibromyalgia. I have beautiful curly hair that I love. It is hard in the winter time to dry them cause I don't own a hairdryer. Are you still suggesting the Gama IQ ? Is it worth the price or with time there is hairdryer that cost less and they are qualilty ? I am lost, Thanks for helping me. I saw that there is JRL Pro Hairdryer too for half the price but is it as good as the Gama IQ... I am open to all of your suggestion. Thanks so much!
@theoneminutebarberАй бұрын
@karine8738 there is a lot of brands who are making very similar hairdryers. I would say if it’s roughly the same shape as the gamma then it’s the same thing. I have since moved to the Diva Atmos and it’s pretty much the same but half the price of the gamma.

@@theoneminutebarber Thanks so much for taking the time replying to my message, I appreciated. I have a look at the Diva Atmos and it looks good yes... I am not sure about the diffuser :) Will see if I can get it in Quebec :) Thanks so much :)

I have one and I rarely use it as I use a dryer brush to dry my hair. When I do use it it’s to dry to 70%. I clean it after every use which is maybe one a month or less. The heat quite working and I’ve had it about a yr.
@theoneminutebarber7 ай бұрын
Since I bought this I’ve moved on to the diva atmos, it’s basically the same thing. But with these types of dryers the don’t seem as robust as a traditional dryer

Thanks for the information. Very very helpful. My birthday is coming soon so I definitely will get one xxxx

So far I gathered these are very good, have terrible after sales warranty and refund policies and things often go wrong and gets very hot.
@theoneminutebarber26 күн бұрын
Yeah that is true their after sales is shocking. Really bad. For that reason alone I’ve not bought anything else from them.

Hello :) Is it normal that the nozzle is falling off when blow drying for longer time? Would like to know if this is common problem! 🙏
@theoneminutebarber7 ай бұрын
No not normal. I’ve never seen it happen
@RubinPanzio3 жыл бұрын
When I use it, the diffuzor is very hot for me! It is normal?
@theoneminutebarber3 жыл бұрын
Make sure your heat and speed settings are on low. If it's too hot it's a case of moving it further away from the head. And also keep moving it around while you work. Don't keep it in one place. The diffusers main job is to dry the hair without flattening it with force.

@@theoneminutebarber update, I’ve saved up enough money to get the professional Dyson supersonic hair dyer to use on clients and myself really looking forward to using it

Have you bought it yet? I've owned the Dyson, the gamma perfecto and the diva Atmos. The Dyson is the most expensive but not the best in my opinion, the perfetto would be the best if it had the magnetic nozzles the diva Atmos has the Atmos is cheap. Still pricey.

Thank you for the review. Do you know the temperature of every level? 😀
@theoneminutebarber2 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately not Sofija, but the third setting is extremely hot. I alway dry with maximum air force and lowest heat as am generally directing towards the scalp a lot. (men's hair) Are you going to buy one. If so don't. They are great, but the diva Atmos is half the price and better as it has everything the perfetto has plus it has magnetic nozzles. Which are essential if you change the direction of the nozzle a lot.

Lock settings is terrific; strange shape though I think the long end will get in the way. I like to get close the the mirror to dry my hair and move it around a lot might knock things over near my mirror. Good review though thanks I am learning a lot from you which has been so helpful during lockdown thanks 👍🙏

Oh great Louise I'm so happy you are learning from me. Agreed the shape is a little unusual, and with the nozzle on it is noticeably longer.

@@theoneminutebarber Yes it has saved me a lot of money cutting my own hair watching your tutorial vids thank you. Yes strange shape dryer; at first I thought it dried at both sides but then realised it has to blowout the hot air out somewhere 😁 If you do any more with clippers can you do with longer hair but pixiecut please. My type of hair I need a hairdresser who also has Barber skills for the perfect cut. Many thanks for the vids 👍🙏

I am not sure now. I have had it for a while but switched to a diva atmos which is better and cheaper. I picked it up from a salon supplier but you could probably get it online easily.

Purchased one for home use and 1.5yrs later it is unusable, broken and was told by the company it's out of warranty and they can't help me. It would just stop working after seconds of starting. I followed all the instructions for use since i've gotten it, only wash my hair twice a week. My husband out of desperation to salvage this $400 piece of junk finally took it apart and found that the cord had arched. Clearly not caused by the user. Save your money..I wouldn't recommend this dryer to anyone.
@theoneminutebarber2 жыл бұрын
That's very disappointing especially since you were only using it domestically. I'm sorry to hear that. I gave mine to my partner who is a hairdresser and she uses it professionally, so far she's not had any problems, it sounds like the manufacturer should really be sorting that out for you.

Dyson Was NEVER The "FUTURE" Of Hair Tools & All The Gamma Dryers Beat Dyson, Like The Other Hundreds Of Pro Dryers 🤗

I've got to admit Tom, I never knew much about gamma until about 12 months ago. But haven't they burst onto the scene all of a sudden. I also watched a little documentary thing about the Dyson, they took 5 years developing it. Not sure why it took that long, maybe a lot of coffee breaks.
