btw its a bit trivial but the act of consumerism is pretty funny within itself, if one looks at it from an outside perspective. In the past (around 400 years prior), we "buy clothes" when we "need clothes" only, or we "buy food" when "we're hungry" only. Not saying that one MUSTNT indulge in things they like once in a while, but our Gan-chan definitely has a balance mindset between the two ideology
