I'd say that lowest is harder than champion xd due to how AI is paralyzed by strong guards on champ while on lowest diff AI can expand easily.

Great work, finished WoW campaign recently and started doing classic on champion. Nice trick with the city, however you could split you thieves at the start of the game so you wouldn't lose that many pirates. Keep up the good work

I was playing on normal and since i went to the elves only after i completely genocided through the barbarians they had at least 2 armies with 40 magic dragons each, so the only solution was to wait until they leave the castle you have to capture unguarded.

this guy is incredible in the early fights, which is all that matters in a heroes 4 campaign. because once you've got gm combat and gm magic resistance, the rest is details.

Opponent has many towns and player has none. This might be doable if u start with a lvl 18 decked out hero. But in the first scenario? Not so much.

@@golternator333 @Golter nator yeah youre right i dont even want to try this map anymore or even the chaos campain. I probably shoud but well i remember when i tried to play it. The guy at the end had a lot of black dragons but like a ton of them(i know this sounds childish but i havent play homm4 and especialy this campain in a long time) . To be honest i dont even remember writing that comment. Man its been 2 years they have pased so quickly. Gammadragon is a genius i hope he's doing okay and is going to be back . I love his content even if its only gameplay really its just amazing to watch. Sorry i've anwsered a year later.

I wonder why do you move nearby the items/resources/captures buildings and then you grab them, instead of moving straight towards them? From what I know picking them in such a way also takes 1 point of the movement.

Interacting with objects on the world map always takes movement points. The diagonals take less movement points than straight up /down / left / right. The automatic path calulated by the game is pretty good for movement efficiency, but it's based on where you click and can't read your mind to guess the hero's next destination. You can often save a movement point by planning the route out in advance, moving along that route, then interacting with the object along the way, rather than letting the game make assumptions.

Great work! I like your style of playing, man. Are you realy going to playthrough all the missions from original campaign? They were veeery boring, so i used to play only in scenarios.(some years ago)... Hope you complete remaining missions before people finally lose their interest. P.S. The most annoying part of the game is definitely target selection for Cyclops.

I like the campaigns much more than scenarios, because they have an RPG feel to them and the heroes become quite strong by the end. Not sure if I will complete every map because creating videos is quite time consuming, which is something I don't seem to have a lot of these days.

Which computer system are using to run this and how did you install it? I'm using windows 10 and it always fails me I use to use windows 7 before I accidentally upgraded, then tried on my laptop which does have windows 7 but failed again can you please respond I love this game and I miss it a ton please and thanks.

Windows 7, Intel i7, 4GB RAM, Radeon HD 7500M. I'm using the gog.com version of the game but previously had a CD version which worked fine too.

I used windows 10, and it didn't work initially until I set the compatibility mode to windows XP SP3. Did you used cracks/no-CD patch ? If yes, it's possible that the fix is buggy. The expansion (The Gathering Storm/Winds of War) removes the DRM, so you can play without using cracks or no-CD patch.

Че то тут не чисто, много раз катал эту первую миссию, моя любимая карта, так вот как бы быстро я не бежал в этот первый зеленый город там всегда был и герой с небольшой армией снаружи и гарнизон который пробивается максимально на тоненького, плюс в городе нету ни здания кочевников ни циклопов, вопрос если здания уже стоят почему у бота нету этих юнитов то? я бы посмотрел как он будет циклопов даже 1-2 убивать с героями 2 и 4 левла

this campaign is has the hardest first level but other levels is tooo simple if you grandmaster chaos magic and tactic with pete further you will get queen medusa and if you grandmaster it too you can just click quick combat in setting and walk with 2 heroes only I beat the game like that. if your rival is too strong just close quick combat and you will handle it with 2 mages. but first level is very hard .

Nah, hardest map is the first one in the Waerjak Barbarian campaign. It is almost down to luck whether you can even beat that one on Champion without a few restarts, while I can't think of any other first scenario that is not beatable right off the bat.

Well nice played but you made a mistake on start the bandit can steal the hat and trade it with the BOAT so you don't lose any AP on the boat then just sail to the north town or even steal something underway cause with the seamans hat you don't lose turns for getting aboard and off i would like to see some champion TGS or WOW ;)

Yes the graphics may be not the best (since the game was rushed), but the concepts of game mechanics are awesome and the story of Heroes 4 vanilla campaigns is superb. Still the graphics are not really bad, just unfinished, many of the models look superb imho. This could easily have been the best part of the series so far if NWC had had a good economy (within or without 3DO). Whereas the Heroes 5 of Nival, outsourced by Ubisoft has superb graphics and musics but boring game mechanics and lousy story. In my humble opinion. Haven't played any later "Heroes" series, but i love Heroes 2, Heroes 3 and Heroes 4. Not so much Heroes 1, it is too unbalanced, with no marketplace and other faulty mechanics. I would love to play the Succession Wars mod for Heroes 3, which is very much in H2 style, really well made mod, beautiful and balanced. Some day. And Horn of the Abyss, a more balanced mod than WoG. Less buggy too i think. For Heroes 4 i know of no good mod except Equilibris. For Heroes 2 there was a somewhat promising mod project called Ironfist, but it seems to be almost dead.

Are you kidding me? If 3DO was not nearing bancrupcy at the time, Heroes 4 would have been even better than Heroes 3! So many wonderful ideas that Ubisoft just dismissed in their joke of a continuation of the series. But yeah, the AI is crap in Heroes 4, they should have worked more on it if it was not so rushed.
