I just wanted to say thank you so much for doing these demonstrations for us. I’ve had a Cosori dual blaze for a while and love it. I’ve just bought myself the pressure cooker but haven’t used it yet. Watching you use it gives me the confidence to try. Also looking to save money where I can. I can’t remember the last time I actually used my big oven .just using the air fryer I have already seen a difference in my gas bill. 😁😁😁

That is a lovely message, thank you for taking the time to message us. You will definitely see a difference in you bills that’s why I try to make a point of showing the cost sometimes. It’s a big learning curve for all of us and we try to cook food we like anyway just in the air fryer. You’ve made our day mi duck 👏👏👏👏👍

that looks a smashing plate of food graham, is amazing how quick these things cook. although i cooked a gammon joint in my ninja yesterday ,i would never have thought to put sugar in a pressure cooker. i found my joint a little bit salty even though it was not smoked, but i heard you say that the sugar took the saltiness away. nice to put va face to the voice graham, and as usual regards to wendy

Hi Grace, when we use the slow cooker I just add sugar but using the pressure cooker I was afraid it would burn So I added the water. It was really tasty. We don’t hide from the camera but I feel the cooking is about the food not us, although we do like a laugh. This video is with both of us on the camera together having a laugh if your interested kzbin.info/www/bejne/sKi3l3R3h6yLgdUsi=vVZBJ7Zdun6ugF8K. 🥰❤️😘👍

Hi Graham and Wendy, the gammon looked lovely, in fact all your meal was nice. I noticed you'd done broccoli, which I'm not keen on and kale. I've never had kale, is it like spring cabbage, which i do like. My last gammon was very salty, I'd soaked it for a few hours, then cooked it in the microwave convection oven, tipped the water off, then finished off in the air fryer but it was still very salty. I think i'll try your way next time in the slow cooker. So do you put water in as well as the sugar in the slow cooker. Your little cup measures were lovely and also your lovely gift of the cookery book. Pauline's very kind.
@grahamgetsabout2672 Жыл бұрын
Hi Sandra, I can understand why people don’t like kale. It’s probably as much the texture as the taste.I seam to like most vegetables and even most food. Gammon does tend to be very salty, cooking it in brown sugar takes the salt away. We always do it this way and have for a few years, give it a go mi duck. In the slow cooker you don’t need any water just the sugar is enough. It sounds odd I know but you will be surprised how much comes out of the meat. Those measuring cups are lovely aren’t they, and the gifts from Pauline are so good. Look at the video Sandra 🥰❤️😘 kzbin.info/www/bejne/qYXdZKywhducadEsi=kCTYl9gO9ciisaXX

Hello Graham 😀😀 I don't know when you made that video, but ofgem lowered the energy price cap today (1st October). My electricity rate used to be 32p/kWh, but it is now 26p/kWh. Yours will definitely have been lowered and If it's been lowered from say, 33p/kWh to 26/kWh, you are overestimating the electricity cost by 33p-26p = 7p, which as a percentage of 26p = 7/26*100 = 27% 😲😲 That's a heck of a difference. On another note, why do you always make such lovely meals when I never have any of the items in? 😂😂😂😂

Hi Philip. Hope your well mate. I’m a bit naughty aren’t I. I didn’t realise it had dropped 1st October. I just use 33p as a guide some people have told me they are paying over double that.
