Gamo Urban Fill Port Leak

My Gamo Urban has a fill port leak. In this video I will demonstrate how to replace the o-ring.

Thanks for that, Aaron. I have the Gamo Coyote, which is the UK version of the Urban, and got a filler port leak after about 18 months, though apparently this might have been caused by them reacting badly to cold temperatures and my having left it in the garage over a few freezing nights last winter. I won't make that mistake again ! Anyway, it was a quick & easy fix, done by the excellent gunsmith at my local range - I'd have done it myself but wasn't 100% sure of the problem or whether I might find some other issue that needed more expertise than I have.

Thanks for the video Aaron. I have owned a Gamo Urban since 2018 and it has never leaked a pound of air...even over the winter months when it doesn't get used much. I do add a few drops of silicone oil to the fill port ever few hundred shots. That lubes the internal O-rings and keeps them from drying out. BTW, you have a bigger problem than that a small air leak. The trigger assembly is missing from you Urban! Guessing you don't shoot it much? 😉

Aaron, Thanks I had a leak new out of the box. Tore the gun clear down (Not Knowing Any Better) When all it took was to tighten the Pressure gauge. Really good to know about that O-Ring. I am new to this sport.

I had the same problem with my AA S510T tactical...I replaced the ring. So I purchased a few more just incase it happen again. It's easy to do.

Great informing review! No showing the O ring coming off and back? My friend had a friend that had one of these. He said that they said, had nothing but problems with the Gamo. It leaked like you said, then something in the breech area happened and couldn't never get the magazine back out while he was pesting! Luckily he had a backup rifle. After what they said, I'll never own one fortunately. Hey, good luck with er my fellow friend. Sta slingin that sweet air rifle lead! Ed snipper man 💥👇💪💪😱

You missed taking the barrel band off. Good video.

Think it's been cut off, on the ones with the moderator which is moulded to the barrel the barrel band won't come off enough to get the valve off without tearing the rifle apart. I got a cheap coyote off a friend and found this out and then found one of the screws holding the barrel to the cylinder was rounded off so I have now cut the barrel band but left enough there so I can tie it back up but seen a lot of people say it's better to take it off but equally people say to keep it on 🤷 if I'm wrong I hope someone schools me because I struggled and didn't want to cut it but it's done now 🤣

What are the symptoms of a bad O-ring? I've never owned one, and thinking about getting one, so probably wouldn't know when to, or consider to, changing it. Thanks for this type of video BTW.

You never showed how you got the litte piece out with the O ring you changed? I took mine apart as you showed but can’t figure out how to get the piece out that has the O ring. And I don’t want to damage it
