He runs a small farm. So a little reliable tractor is probably all you’d need. It doesn’t matter if it’s old or ugly. If it works it’s fine. There are many examples in this video where he just is wrong, balers have been around since about 1950s and the have always been “stringing” the bales! Those are not big machines those are small ones, when cultivating your primary reason to cultivate is to chop the residue. And he said many times that driving in straight lines is the key, yes it is better and you get a greater profit due to less fuel consumption but is not that important! Next time when doing an “expert” review dont hire a cityslicker who just had a crashcourse 10 min before the video about some less important things. You can do better!

Man, I grew up on a farm, so listening to him talk brought back memories.... of why our neighbor closed his gates. First off, what do you mean you were 7 operating heavy machinery? Not only that, but it is also an operating heavy machinery with attachments on the road? How has the flsa not locked your dad up? Not letting minors under 16 operate has been on warning stickers on tractors since the 50s, so how old are you, dude? You look 20, maybe early 30, there's no way. No only is that super dangerous but do you realize had you hit anyone or anyone hit you the only time your dad would of been able to talk to any of his family after that would be on visitation day with a glass in between him and a phone. You need a certification to try that at even the age of 15 but dude 7? Haybails are for decoration? Had I said that to my dad, I would have been in the next haybail. And the fbi would be taking pictures of my corpse. And folks, I know what he said, but please do not go to a farm and try to take pictures sitting on a hay bail. Unless you want to find out how serious that sign that says "trespassers will be shot" is. Dude, haybails are used for animals. We use them for trees, we use them for chickens and cows, and the list goes on. And at the very least, they are still valuable today, especially if you let them sit, so sell them, which helps out finically. Huh, a polo shirt well, ok. I mean, I get it. I wore a plaid button-up with a t-shirt under. So I kind of get wanting to look good and still be reasonable. But do those not bother you? I mean to wear them all the time. I hated wearing them for school there always rough material, and you always wanted something under it. Even during school, I wore t shirts under them. And I've seen farmers wear a lot of weird stuff but never polo. Guess people are starting to see them as work shirts or something. Though i got to say I also never heard a farmer use the word "buisness casual" before either. And what do you mean you only have a small tractor? Cause that size tractor looked pretty normal to me. I mean, are you only dealing with 1 field or something? If so, I hate to tell you, but that's not being a farmer that's farming as a hobby. Even my standard of a big tractor, like industrial size one, takes at the minimum hours to hours to complete a field. Are you doing this with a small tractor? Dude, I'm sorry that's got to suck. What about when you spray? Or when you fertilize? Do you manually change out your tires every time? It's the right tool for the right job, not one tool for every job. It's like watching someone try to drive a nail in with a wrench.....just why? Where did they find you working at an event center? Like one of those places that rents out its land for weddings? Cause a lot of what you're saying dude if your a farmer, then I'm Papa Smurf. Either that or you have so much money that you just don't care anymore, and it sounds like no one in that line has. If you're using haybails as props for teenagers and weddings, then yeah, dude, retire. God knows you have the money, too.

Yes the hay bales are stringed and square when they come out of the machine. As for speed the video has been sped up, not sure he noticed that. No one bales hay at 40kmh lol

Farms in my area don’t have rock pickers, we just drove around and tossed the rocks into a rock carrier front loader thing
