Great video especially your advice about skipping questions in s3 which you haven't studied and guessing them or coming back later which we agree with.

Thanks so much for this video!! I’d just like to know how much depth you went into for S3.. did you revise a-level / 1st year uni standard? Easy to find yourself getting carried away with learning content haha!

Best of luck, sooner you start the better. Sounds like you know what to focus on which is good.

Hello Merlin, thank you for the straight to the point video! I have a few questions. 1. You mentioned 2 books; Sapians and what was the other one? 2. For the book Sapians, can you give me a small description of what it is like? I need to know before I spend money on it.
@Willwgmb6 жыл бұрын
+Ali Alji yeah sure. The second is called homo deus- a prediction of what will happen in the future Sapians is the whole of human history. If you don’t really want go through both you could always try the new book: 21 lessons for the 21st century, which is the most relavent bits from the other two and of course by the same author. For more details you can find a review on any of the three books on my channel.

@@Willwgmb Thank you I will definitely check out those books on your channel. Also, would you recommend to initially type essays on the computer to get the essay structure and artistic flair on point before actually using these skills to start practising writing on paper to get the timing on paper? Good luck at uni!

+Ali Alji Up to you I just did it all by hand. I’d say the most important thing is getting feedback from someone maybe a family member or someone like that

Hi Merlin, Thanks for the helpful tips! I come from a non-science background and i am quite rusty on the science subjects. I only have 5 months to prepare. Do you advise to study books of chem and physics thoroughly first to build up my knowledge base or just focus on the syllabus of Gradmed ? I am also thinkin of just going through lots of Section 3 practice questions and studying topics as I go along? What do you think?
@Willwgmb4 жыл бұрын
I’d recommend you use the list on the website as a guide for what to learn because you don’t need to learn everything in the text Book 5 months is enough if you do you significant amount of studying I don’t know how much a day it’s different for everyone but that’s enough time I reckon

What was your score for each section and your overall score in the gamsat

Average was 58 1)56 2)56 3)60 Don’t get me wrong plenty did better but most didn’t.

gret video! just wondering what other past papers you did besides the official acer practise papers?
@Willwgmb5 жыл бұрын
I think I only did the past papers they gave me the rest of the time I spent revising. To be honest its not really a test you learn the technique for you just need to expose yourself to experience of doing a very long test just to have the experience of it

@Yo lo Guys GAMSAT and UMAT both need some maths knowledge. There will be physics questions with a lot of math knowledge needed and some chemos and biology that needs math.
@leanntan32295 жыл бұрын
Why do they test those things? I thought they should test things about biology stuff? Excuse my confusion , im a year 11 student from Malaysia hoping to become a doctor in Australia

Why I rightly don’t know though they likely argue it all would make for better doctors.
