She’s legitimately a terrible actress. Most of the elves look terrible. They’re supposed to be the high elves, the fairest of elves. Not some backwoods, inbred looking goof balls. Like the dork who plays Elrond and the king. Don’t even get me started on the lore. That was a good line. Although sometimes relentless logic misses things. Perhaps the three eleven rings are a singular, once made never replicated kind of creation. The way I see it, Celebrimbor poured all of his artistic will and a critical portion of his elven power into those rings, and so the idea of him just churning out a fresh batch like buns on a factory line is not only implausible in the context of this world but also cheapens the meaning of the original three rings, and diminishes his significance as the greatest elven smith, descendant of Feanor. You could even argue that the elemental "magic" held by those rings came from a limited supply, drawn up from deep within Middle-earth, and so couldn't be made again. Imagine if there were countless silmarils...they'd soon start to appear dull to the eye. It's kinda like a band's first album; the second one is often not as good because the band put a lifetime's worth of creative energy into the previous songs. Plus, have you ever drawn or written something, only to be confronted with the expectation to repeat the essence or success of that project? It's not easy, if possible at all in many cases.

But even if we accept this as canon, there's a big difference from laughing at the pretty boy, to y'know murdering him so he flops around like a jelly. Also, the orcs in question are of a totally different host than these, and not lead by some elf. They are eastern orcs who were kicking around masterless for ages, and then ended up following him when he showed his power later anyways.

Episode 2 has great moments from galadries vision of celebrimbor getting ensnared by trees while he recites the-one-ring curse in black speech. Gandalf tornado scene as he loses control when his new found staff fails. Sauron revealing himself as annatar to celebrimbor who is shitting his pants from absolute awe... Like I know people love to hate it for the sake of hating, but rtarded 12 year olds can manage level of critique most of you sheep are able to offer.. why you even bother writing it then?

Celebrimbor scene I was expecting an alien to burst out of his chest, it sucked. Reusing the dialogue from the movies because they cant write anything themselves sucks. Gandalf losing control sucks, we already saw that in season 1 and it sucks. Homeless murder hobbits suck. Sauron shapeshifting in front of Celebrimbor and him not knowing that it is Sauron, the evil spirit known for shapeshitting and taking fair forms to deceive people, after being told by Galadriel that this dude is not to be trusted. -50 iq points. Im not hating for the sake of hating. Im hating because this show is very very bad and extremely dumb. Literally everything about it sucks.

I love Tolkien's description of Sauron's resurrection as read by Gandalf: "Having absorbed a rat and a cockroach and whatnot, Sauron, who was now a thick dark soup, flopped out onto the mountain side face first. He started dragging his rancid rat-roach broth-like body underhill and over hill. It was proper gross! Sloppy roly-pollys proving to be more effective than they looked.
