for the unholy artifact appearance do you have to have Apocalypse equipped while casting army of the dead and apocalypse? And for the Blood one, if I've done the suramar story line on a different character and have the withered training scenario unlocked is there a way to skip to the training scenario on my DK

You don’t need to have Apocalypse equipped. As for blood, I don’t think there’s a way to skip to the scenario unfortunately. But it’s very early in the quest line, so it won’t take too long to unlock.

hello mate.. for unlock other colors like 100 myth and 1000 pvp i have to equip my legendry weapon? or just appearance the weapon enough? and if i have to equip for pvp 1000 kills.. can i join BG and get assist kill or i have to kill 1000 player? ty for helping..

You do not have to have the artifact weapon equipped to unlock those other tints! You just need to have unlocked the base form of the appearance! And for the PvP one, I don't think you need to get the killing blow, so you just need to get credit for the kill. Hope that helps!

Yes, they can still be obtained. You can ignore Artifact Knowledge requirements. If anything needed level 110, it now needs level 45 after the level squish.

Yes, all hidden appearances are still obtainable, with the requirements still being basically the same. The only difference are the level requirements (which were squished in Shadowlands, 110 is now 45) and the removal of Artifact Knowledge. Hope that helps!

What if I might've accidentally missed the mob and the book for apocalypse?

Luckily, you don’t actually have to read the book, you just need to summon the mob. So you can do one of two things. 1) Just go to ICC and see if you can access the trap door in Putricide’s room. Or 2) Run this script to check if the book actually dropped. Just copy it and paste it into your chat window. If it returns true, then you’ve summoned the mob and can go to ICC. If it says false, keep farming for the mob. /script print(IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(44188))

@@GandalinGaming dude i cant tell you how much this comment means to me.. ive been in proving grounds for over two hours thinknig something is wrong.. but i ran the script after coming here to see if i missed something and it cameback true.. i must have summoned the mob back in legion when i was playin the character as an alt... i dont know how long i would have continued doing proving grounds before i gave up and never played DK again because of my ignorance XD

There are different requirements for each. If you go to the artifact forge it will show you what you need to do to unlock each tint.

It still works in Shadowlands. Artifact Knowledge doesn’t matter anymore. After the level squish, anything that required level 110 now requires level 45. The rest is the same!

The orc has to spawn. When it does, it completes a hidden quest that lets you access the door in ICC. You can use the chat command I posted below to see if the orc has spawned. If it returns "true" then you can go right to ICC. /script print(IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(44188))

Yeah, boosted toons can't enter legacy instances for 24 hours. It's a restriction Blizzard has imposed on boosted toons.

Yes! It’s pretty much all the same. The only differences are that you don’t have to worry about Artifact Knowledge since it was removed, and anything that required level 110 now requires level 45 due to the level squish.

You don't have to worry about Artifact Knowledge anymore! Once Legion ended, those requirements were removed. Instead, you just need to be level 110.

The frost appearance is guaranteed from the Soultakers world boss, but not from the ICC bosses.

Obviously, I can't say for certain if it'll work on your server, but I believe that 7.1.5 is when those bosses started dropping the appearance, so you should be able to get it.

The mob can be summoned with your Army of the Dead ability. That was always the primary source of it. Using the artifact ability was just extra chances.

+costas1010 Thanks so much! I also love the unholy appearance. For addons, in combat I use WeakAuras 2 to show icons on the screen. For the world map, I use World Quest Tracker to show the detailed world quest icons. If those weren't the ones you were curious about, just let me know!

+costas1010 That's actually not an addon! It's built in to the game. If you go into the Interface settings, in the Names tab, there's an option called Personal Resource Display. If you check that off, you'll get the health bars. You can also have it show your special resources. And personally, I check off the Larger Nameplates option.

I don't think so, but WeakAuras does have an option to anchor things to the Personal Resource Display. It should show you a mock up of it when you select that object, letting you place your auras around it. Keep in mind that the PRD moves as your camera zoom changes, so any auras that are anchored to it will move with it.

If the script returns true, that means that you've already spawned the mob at some point. You won't spawn it again, but you can just head to ICC and you should see the trap door! Here's the script again, just to double check you have the right one: /script print(IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(44188))

The Frost hidden appearance, along with several others, was initially only available from specific Legion world bosses, which take a while to cycle through. So as a way to give people alternative ways to obtain the hidden appearances, they added some of them to other thematically appropriate sources. ICC made sense for Frost, more than any of the Legion dungeons or raids.

For the unholy dks out there always choose bronze tank in proving grounds and grip the mob with taunt and icebound fortitude to the male panda then after apocalypse yield and repeat.

Unfortunately, it's completely RNG. Have you tried using the Proving Grounds trick I talked about in the video? And make sure you're using both Apocalypse and Army of the Dead. I hope you get it soon!

There is a little bit of bad luck protection for the Blood appearance. Just keep doing withered training every time it pops up. You'll get it eventually.
