Brother why you are angry , as an Indian who was born in 2005 , what I can say that we Indians are responsible for our own sufferings in the last 1000 years , now you will ask how , so here it is What we Indians have seen in movies and in our history books , we can 100% say that we Indians have betrayed other Indians and that is the most truth factor of our oppression, British was not powerful than Mughal empire , but we were defeated not by force but because of our own brothers who fought against us whole siding with British , because of some money , It's true that there were many warriors like Maharana Pratap , shivaji maharaj , man singh etc , but as you mentioned UNITED INDIA , we were never united , and not even now , people still support congress party even after knowing what they did to India , British has left , but their mindset still lives in congress party and its supporters , NOW is our time to be united so that we don't repeat the same mistakes what our ancestors did for so many years . We are Indians first . Jai hind And please if you don't want to appreciate , don't criticize the pure soul of LAALI ji , can you imagine how hard it is for a person from Britain. ,to learn hindi , it's really hard for especially westerners , So respect the pure souls because they never die , only body does . And if LAALI ji is seeing this , I want to say to you that you are like my big sister , as I am only 18 , and don't get sad after seeing this gentleman's message , we Indians are emotional people and tend to take everything in our hearts😅. That's why most of us love you(not in other way 😂) . Byeeeeee😙😉

Gandhi would not have liked statues being made of him. He would rather preferred that money being donated. But thanks for the video. The world needs people like him today.

Thanks for making this video, With growing inequality and intolerance in the society, it is important for us to remember and discuss Gandhiji’s ideas on different aspects of life and global peace. I think Gandhi's most important legacy was in creating a culture of peace, in proving the effectiveness of non-violent non-cooperation, and drawing the world's attention to the gap between what we do, and what we are capable of doing. Mahatma Gandhi is the greatest apostle of peace the world has seen after Buddha and Christ and his vision and philosophy are pillars of the work of the United Nations.

Gandhi was later shunned by his own caste "baniya" .... He was quite against the rich crony capitalists and capitalism. As he said commerce without Dharma is a sin something like that though he was himself of a baniya caste which is a business caste

Gandhi is a huge inspiration to humanist ideals and idealists worldwide. We need to study Gandhi more closely especially his ideas on ecology, sustainability, approach to marginalised sections of society, the attitude of taking all with him, gender and race relations, materialism etc. At the same time, he had his quirks. So we cannot brush them away under the carpet. He was a great human.

Why Britain wl not worship Gandi, the trusted British police in India. Even then Churchill mocked this Gandi as Nacked Fakir . Most probably thats why Churchill lost throne to Clement Atlee.

Because they choose violence over peace
@dresdenkiller6 күн бұрын
Because Bose actually drove the British away. Gandhi let them have an excuse to retreat with dignity while holding the moral high ground that they did so respecting a non violent movement and not because of another impending Sepoy Mutiny

The core Gandhian values of simplicity, fearless truthfulness, and inter-faith unity are rarely celebrated in today's India. Nowadays, what he is mostly remembered for by the youth is celebrity as a globally recognizable icon. Humility has been replaced by a new sense of nationalistic pride.

Gandhi literally offered Jinnnah the prime ministership of a united India,and Jinnah turned him down because he knew it wouldn't work,no matter how hard Gandhi tried Partition was in the end inevitable,the biggest mistake was Mountbatten bringing forward the date of independence by 8 months,believing Jinnah would struggle to get Pakistan ready for self rule,and Radcliffe being given ONLY 2 months to draw the Ind/Pak borders,YES my friends the British have a lot to answer for,maybe less blood would have been shed if only you had taken more time with drawing the borders and Partitioning of the country,now look at us today governments paranoid and distrustful,of the 3 that were split Bangladesh seems to be the most solid at present despite the recent political wranglings.

Not agreeing with Gandhi's ideology has nothing to do with politics, and not only he could have done more to avoid partition but history show us he dint put efforts to stop the hanging of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru. Also he was not happy with Subhash Chandra Bose ways of dealing with British. So yes now people dont see Gandhi as the 'Greatest' of the Indian freedom fighter/father of the nation.

Bose called him Father of the nation and Gandhi tried to save Bhagat Singh from hanging. It is better to fact check yourself

Gandhi was indeed against partition. Unfortunately, it’s Jinnah who wanted a separate nation for Muslims and nothing could have stopped that. If not for the partition related violence that killed millions, it would have been a civil war instead. The British didn’t want to interfere in the affairs and nor did they do anything to stop the violence that erupted during partition and its a shame British government and Lord Mountbatten who was a well regarded man in India, decided to do nothing and just watch it from the sidelines. The partition is also the cause of animosity between India and Pakistan and there are still people whose parents or grandparents were directly affected by it on both sides and they keep passing on the tragic events to generations on both sides of the Radcliffe line and the animus will not go away between both sides for another 50 or 100 years. Anyway, Gandhi was opposed to partition and he wanted Nehru to cede the leadership to Jinnah and remain a united country but Jinnah had already laid the ground work for a separate country and Nehru and others weren’t about to cede the leadership to Jinnah in a Hindu majority country. And Pakistan failed even further when Bangladesh separated and became an independent country. The guys on the West refused to step down and hand over power to Mujibur Rahman when he won the election fair and square and then had a disastrous response to the Bhola Cyclone that killed twice as many people as the Boxing Day tsunami. Gandhi was killed by the ultra right Hindu nationalists who are the same bloody people who are in power now in India.
