The majority of killers back then were teenagers with undeveloped brains. Whats sad is that decades later alot of grown men still have the same mentality as these kids in the videos

@Antoine that’s a great question and my answer is when they are willing to step up and share their story of pain and suffering. Just as I say about the perpetrators, I can’t magically appear with a mic and camera and make someone speak.

That's how it was back in the day. There were a lot of different sub-stations back then and they knew most of the bangers, and most of the bangers knew them. Just like there were active dudes in the streets, they had active cops on the force. I grew up near the Firestone Sheriffs, 79th & Compton Avenue, who were known to us as the "Stoney Boys." If you know about the Firestone Sheriffs, then you know it was going down back in the 1960's, 70's, and the early 80's.

Of course he’s gone say he would cooperate if he knew who killed his brother he’s playing the game smart by downplaying his gangsterism because real gangsters move in silence.

my first time in Compton was in 93 right after the Rodney King Riots. We were playing Centennial High in a football game on their turf. When we arrived the Pirus surrounded our bus and made numerous threats (and racial remarks to us). We ended up winning the game and the Gangsters, Centennial Players and their parents all started rushing our team creating a riot. We had to get security and the Compton PD to get us out of there.

You could see the utter fear in the body of the young Hoover Locked up next to those ECC Etc. it’s one thing to get shot/jumped by surprise. But to know as soon as the doors unlock, you will possible get beat to death, is a morbid feeling and I don’t take that lightly.
