When you take the death penalty away the violent actions will continue. Everybody cries about the death penalty until it happens in their family. The prison system gets richer and the victims get nothing and the have to pay their taxes to take care of a man who killed their family. Where is the justice in that.

The Laws in this country is worthless. If the Punishments will be harsh perhaps half of these crimes might have avoided. But anyone is free to murder another & get away with some slap on a wrist or even get more famous. Criminal Laws are simply a JOKE.
@mishkag1471Ай бұрын
Funny, the death penalty has existed for 1000s of years, yet it never stopped murderers and serial killers from killing. It did, however, kill countless people who were proven to be innocent post mortem, who were effectively murdered over something as silly as a clerical mistake. Innocent people do not need to die so you can satiate your feelings of vengeance. Everyone thinks the death penalty is a great idea until you're accused of a crime you didn't commit.

“The crime-ridden streets of Colorado,” “The tough neighborhoods of Jefferson County.” lol The production quality is good on your videos but you need to do more research before using exaggerated phrasing meant to create dramaticism. Jefferson County is far from tough and crime-ridden. It’s in the 73rd-percentile for safety in the nation. It’s a generally pretty affluent county

Yeah I caught that too. Not to mention the fact that almost every single one of these "reactions" are just them respectfully listening to the sentences being read, only for him to spin it like that is somehow more proof they are psychopaths? Like you're literally supposed to quietly listen when the sentence is read. That's a really standard part of court decorum.

Can anyone explain to me why they give "Multiple life sentences"? I don't get why they can't say he's for life instead since at least in wording just means you're there till you're dead. Or least thats the conception I've grown to understand outside without knowledge of how this works.
@valerie28273 ай бұрын
I think it's to make sure they NEVER get out. Say they get one life sentence for multiple crimes, which in some places could mean their entire natural life or (for example) 25-30 years. Sentencing them to multiple life sentences ensures they will never get out on parole if they were to serve their (for example) 25-30 years. Not sure if this is correct or not, just what I've heard.
@lilpiper58473 ай бұрын
@@valerie2827 well it certainly makes more sense now specially the per crime side of thing. Though I feel that complicates or saturates it when it can be limited to just "for life" rather than multiple life sentences. But then again I aint the law or one who makes law.
