i love this album so much!! there’s so much emotion packed into each song and it’s so beautiful to hear. my family found out that my dad has cancer a few months ago. he’s in the hospital for chemo at the moment, and we can’t go and visit him because of covid restrictions. this song perfectly encapsulates all of my feelings and fears about this situation - that one day he’ll leave for chemotherapy and never come home. as sad as this song is making me - which is absolutely not a bad thing, i love songs that can make me feel emotions like yours can - it’s also a wonderful form of catharsis, to know that someone out there knows how i feel. what i’m trying to say, i guess, is thank you for writing these songs. you guys are an amazing band, and i’m so excited that this album is out!

This is one of my absolute favourite tracks of the album, I love how it directly taps into emotions, not only that but a wide range of them, AND an even wider range of nuances & variations (calling out grief here obviously 👀) Thank you for this masterpiece ❤️ It feels like a companion 🫂

Such a lovely tune! I came back home to help walk my father out. Taught me the difference between peace maker and peace keeper. The pain then healing caused by returning and leaving everything you thought was right behind will stay with me for all time. 🙏
