I bet when they created this song, they never expected that it would end up being one of the greatest songs in hip-hop history....when I first heard this song as a child, I KNEW this culture was gonna dominate music one day....how could ANYONE deny such a simplistic yet innovative sound....hip-hop is older than people actually give credit for, it goes back to "bebop" days, and historically even tribal cadences spoken by shamans....its an amazing art form and Gang Starr definitely showed how genuine their contribution to the sound of hip-hop would change everything!!
