Hello Debashish Bhai . I used to learn with you at Ispat kala parishad . You also used to teach us . I have been looking for you since sooooo many years and am so so so glad I found an Article on you in Times of India . Seeing your performance I feel so proud . The steps are same that Roul Sir taught us . Infact , i was singing and dancing along with you when you performed on the last bit of music . If possible , I would really like to meet you and collaborate with you.

Can't get my eyes off... May you keep us making proud.
I performed on ganga tarang at Somnath in 2016. It was a divine experience. You danced gracefully as usual. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

One of the rare male dancers who looks masculine. Typically Indian dance is quite feminine in nature, and even male dancers look feminine. But he has raised the quality of masculine dance.

Dance is never masculine or feminine. It's always graceful. I think your problem is that you have always associated grace with females.

@@YashwinDewangan You are showing your ignorance, both of fundamental human experience and of what the ancient Indian masters have said. As fundamental as the difference between men and women is, so is the difference between masculine movement and feminine movement. Bharatamuni has clearly explained in his Natyashastra two different qualities of dance - उद्धत (Uddhata) which is full of masculine energy, and सुकुमार (Sukumara) which is full of feminine grace. Ask any scholar of dance, and they will tell you that typically Indian dance forms are more feminine, because that is what can sustain performance through a vast range of Bhavas and Rasas. When Shiva performs his Uddhata tandava dance, it is full of masculine energy.
