I would like to share an interesting in incident about the song " Yeh Zindaki usi ki " in the film ANARKALI.The film was produced by Filimistan studios Bombay and music. by Chitalkar Ramachandra..Actually what happened was that a great music director Roshan once invited Chitalkar Ramachandra'ji for a dinner. At that time Chitalkar ji was deeply thinking about the tune and expressed this to Roshanji.Immediately Roshanji took piece of paper and scribbled some musical notes and gave to Chitalkar ji Born the song was "Yeh Zindagi usi ki hai". This information was openly admitted by both the music directors. .How many of the present day music directors have such large heaetedness?

Hi Booskey, Sir, Gangai Amaran's point on the the trend of hero song intro is so true. As a Singapore Tamil, i say there is a urgent need to change these silly "hero" song. Anirudh, worst music director of tamil cinema, except in few movies like kathi. Trying folk, gana is a thing to be welcomed. But he can't make a good flavor of it. ARR's Ilayaraja's songs will be there in the future to be practiced by the youngsters like carnatic compositions(excluding few songs).
