Ha ha I remember as a kid playing through a group of guys on my home golf course the one that spoke to me was a Geordie and seriously I thought he was German until months later I met him and realised he was speaking (kind of) English to me hahahaha! You'd think I'd be good at accents as I've also had my mother ring me at work and not know who it was as her Derbyshire Accent was so strong haha!

The difference is that it's actually documented that they tried to muscle in on the clubs in Newcastle. A couple of London nightclub owners had places in Newcastle and the Krays felt they could extort them. I used to think it was horseshit too, tbh, and like you had heard similar stories about other places like Liverpool, but this story actually adds up, they were featured in local press etc during their time here, but it was foolish for them to think their reputation in London would help them in another town, if anything they'd be a massive target for local gangs looking to make a name for themselves by getting a Kray, and all their own lot would be hours away if it kicked off.

He is respected by a lot of people including Freddie foreman and the whole sayers family, and many others, do not talk about things you know nothing about
