Dodge your recent video interview with Marcus, delivered a wave of nostalgia, invoking fond memories of the old days, Marcus, an old school bouncer, is known for his gentlemanly demeanour and professionalism and his don’t mess attitude. Having worked with him on the doors during the late 80's and into the 90's, I can testify to his exceptional character and strong work ethic. Marcus mentioned in your interview that he took up Aikido, and I had the privilege of being the Aikido instructor during that time. Those were truly good times, filled with camaraderie and memorable experiences. Marcus surrounded himself with a group of outstanding Guys, and we were a tight-knit team. Aikido aligned perfectly with Marcus's values and his approach to handling challenging situations on the job. He incorporated the principles of Aikido into his work as a Head Doorman, utilising techniques that prioritised de-escalation and diffusing conflicts without unnecessary force. As I reflect on those years, I can say with confidence that Marcus was an exceptional doorman to work with. I have fond memories of that time, and I genuinely wish Marcus all the best in his future endeavours. His impact on the team and the industry is not easily forgotten. I told myself I would not write war and peace but there is so many good things to say about Marcus, All the best Big Guy
