I’ve known Marcus for nearly 20 years and he even helped me start my own door security agency, where it got to the point we would lend each other staff over the years. He is what you see, no pretending or fakeness, just a good man who doesn’t tolerate any nonsense. Despite a lot of misconceptions about Marcus, he was pivotal in improving the professionalism of Doorman in our area and it is a real loss to no longer have him in the industry. On another note, Ask him about the time he “bumped” in to guy called max who was trying to nick his doors 😉

Yeah he's good as he doesn't big himself up a lot and is a friendly humble guy. I'm just a bit cynical these days though because guys like Dodge are good at what they do, but are more concerned with views than anything else. He doesn't need to but does (he's not the only one and far from the worst, Attwood anyone?) clickbait and also has people on that talk utter shite. So he's prepared to look naïve to sit through a load of bullshit just so he gets views? I suppose he's going for the dough and he's getting it, all credit to him, but he doesn't need to be fake and compromise his integrity, his channel is good so people will watch regardless.

Obviously not every guest lies, it's mainly embellished stories, but some are bad liars and have a lot of holes in their story. Dodge kind of questions this which shows he probably doubts what's being said. I didn't used to mind Shaun Attwood but unsubscribed as he's so greedy and fake, shit without Wildman, has that annoying bird who adds nothing and asks annoying naive questions, he is the fakest. Outrageous clickbait, and again has a lot of bullshit merchants on; with his repertoire of oohs and aahs and wows along with lots of facial expressions. Please! I'm sounding very negative I guess but it winds me up.

One of the best podcasts I've listened to, listened both parts for over 3 hrs, I could listen to for longer, story after story, Marcus a great story teller, they should be giving this guy medals for some of the things he has prevented over and over again, humble and not swayed by foolish money, what a nice guy

Every now and again you stumble upon a channel that just grabs ya, this is that channel. An absolute goldmine of characters telling their life stories in an informal setting with a host that asks all the right questions and allows the conversation to flow. Full marks dodge, youve nailed the Rogan format that works so well. Done Carlton Leach and Marcus chat 1 so far. This collection will keep me going for a while. Congrats fella, and thankyou 👍🏻

FYI. In the "Big Tiger" the food (slop) was firstly dished out to the inmates with money (bribes), so you always felt grateful that you weren't in the African area. I had a reason to employ some Thai fighters from a local gym for a night, due to some problems with a bunch of customers. The night was cool, but one of them mentioned that none of them were scared of a fight, many had been fighting since they were 6 yrs of age and only a couple of months before had got into a big fight on walking street with South African mercenaries. Best option, don't get in a fight with the locals.. nuff said!
