sir very nice video, and I have doubt Is no need to analyse and design the beam, column and connections? please explain analysis and design
@GaniSk4 жыл бұрын
First you need analysis and design before start modeling part, This tutorial is modeling part in Tekla Structures software, For analysis and design you need to use Tekla Structural Designer or other Design software's, For design tutorial refer this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/oJWoaq1rfpmbpK8

Sir could you tell me if the Created structural model in Tekla structures can it be exported to Tekla Structural designer for Design?? and further analysed & designed completely . Lastly how the analysis & designed results in Tekla structural designer is further Re-imported to Tekla structures for creating G.F.C detailed drawings & schedules using tekla structures.I would really appreciate if you could suggest a reference video over these process. I couldn't find any so far
@GaniSk2 жыл бұрын
Yes you can export model from tekla structures to tekla structural designer (or) you can import model from tekla structural designer to tekla structures, Import and Export options are available in menu bar in both software's but you can't import or export every thing. First you need to do design first in any software just like Tekla Structural Designer or Staad Pro etc refer this videos Tekla Structural Designer kzbin.info/www/bejne/oJWoaq1rfpmbpK8 Staad Pro kzbin.info/www/bejne/hGqXfnyXabGZadE After that you need to do some more design calculation for connection and bolting manually or using few software's Later you need to do modeling and detailing in tekla structures or any other software's.

@@GaniSkSir i thank you & appreciate for your elaborate reply . sir but sir I wish to get more clarity. First of all as you know that Tekla structures is really good in creating 3D models specially steel structure.Sir Please correct me if I am wrong in the process of what I understand of tekla software flowchart in the overall . To begin first i would create 3D model using Pre-assumed member sections & available connection details in Tekla structures and then further i could export that 3D model into Tekla structural Designer for Analysis & Design .. so after the analysis & Design if all the sections passes then it's ok but if it fails then I will change & choose higher member sections in particular . Finally sir i shall export the designed Model into Tekla structures for reinforcement & detailing & G.F.C drawings. I request you kindly make a full fledged video of these process of creating 3D model & exporting it into Tekla structures Designer for Analysis & design . Then again exporting the designed structural Model from Tekla structural Designer into Tekla Structures for Detailing, Drawings. Sir as you know we can create connection details in Tekla structures for steel structure 3D-model but I wish to know if i can check if connection details are passing in analysis & Design in Tekla structural Designer or do I have to use any perticular plugin for checking the strength of the connection details ?? If so how to do that? Expecting your reply soon
