Yo GDark, I've noticed you don't usually mount while looting. You can infact push a to mount, while you are "casting" the mount the loot window stays open and you are able to loot and mount at the same time. Of course once you are mounted if you loot an item you automatically dismount, but your mount will still be up. This works even on chests. As soon as you pop it push a and continue looting.
