a quick question .. what is the different between a strong link and rubber link when we are linking a task to its predecessor ? - I cut through this video so I might have missed out you explaining this.

How do I schedule tasks if some of the task duration include weekends while others do not? For example, an application for a permit is 40 calendar days (inclusive of the weekends) while another task is 40 days excluding weekends and another task excludes Sundays but includes Saturdays? It boils down to a different calendar for each task.

The review of the UI, menu items at the beginning is a good idea but would have been better with a real project so that, for example, you could have selected the Pert chart to show the result of that menu item. In general you should show us to where you are going with a short but full example, and then develop that or a very similar example from scratch. Again Thanks!

Many thanks. Can I use GanttProject to record progress vs timeline in order that I can determine if the project is running late or ahead of time. I see that it allows me to indicate progress eg 50% task complete but that gives me no information to determine if a task is say 10-days overdue. Is there a way for me to show this on the Gantt? Thanks again.

How do you change the start and end date of a Gannt chart MS project wont let me and neither will Gannt Project...its crazy stupid....driving me mental...WHY!!?? Just let me change the date. Drives me up the wall...such a simple thiing should be implemented....what if you change plan??
