Never stayed at Gap Creek Campground but have done the walk down to the falls a few times. Absolutely stunning area up there. just a shame Nat Parks want a booking fee now for all their "Free" campgrounds.

Good chilled spot, it’s good they provide bins/toilets etc, lov forrest camping, hey do you carry a plb(personal locator beacon) when in the bush walking tracks by yourself on sketchy terrain

After being closed by the National Parks for a while, It's good to see Gap Creek Campground is once again open. And considering there are rubbish bins provided in that campground, I'm still dumbfounded that people continue to leave their rubbish behind. Peeps, if you do your No.2s in the bush, burn your toilet paper, then bury it. Don't just leave it on the ground.

Oh I hope you are well. yes we have some beautiful untouched nature at our doorsteps and this is only 40 mins from 6 largest city and 1 hour from Sydney Australia's largest city. I haven't even started on the really good stuff yet.

Just call me Scooter Dave for the next 3-6 months. 👍🤣😖😂🤣🤔😱😠🥺 In reality Australia has some incredible places to see. That's one of the reasons I would love to take a 6 month vacation and do a Big Lap. Then through in the food and beer what more could you ask for? How about a country basically full of great blokes like you that love camping and touring. ✔ ✅ 👍
