​@@xmo552that would be a horrible option for a 1 ton, aluminium block combined with a supercharger won't last you long in a heavy truck. If you can afford an LS9 you can afford a 12 valve Cummins for towing...

@@chrishansen7004 I came to the same conclusion. I have a spare rebuilt 24 valve and that's always been option #1. But, I'm staying with a SBC. It'll be my 400 block, maybe 406, maybe large stroker, and/or maybe a little boost but definitely staying sbc on that one. My other-other heavy hauler squarebody will be get the 24 valve.

This pickup is damn near perfect in concept & execution!The Chevy truck is the best handling pickup of all brands & it doesn't take much to really dial them in & the newer drivetrain is the prime choice that works! I never get tired of the classic 70's Square Body Chevy trucks, when slammed like this rig! I grew up in Fresno California & it is literally the lowered car & truck mecca of the Central Valley in California!

Excellent presentation. Thank you. I love this truck and it is really my style. That said, for me, it needs to be 1/2" higher in the front and 1" higher in the rear. To me, trucks just look strange sitting perfectly flat. Love that it is IRS and "no bags" - amazing stuff.

What a badass square body I have an 83 C10 and this is definitely put a fire under my ass to push my build in that direction Love the stance the drivetrain everything is just executed perfect and looks killer! I love how it's just factory looking no big Hood no big wing just a nice static drop and some big ole meats definitely reminds me of a level 7 build the fact that it was home built makes it even better!

This truck got every grown ass man across the globe drooling. My dad built an old box chevy in the driveway and it was prob around upper 300s/400 at the time and gutted and that thing was a menace. Cant imagine these with 600+ HP.

SAme...dropped a few inches, 8 inch centerlines big sway bars cheap kybs, 50 series 15s. Went around a corner pretty well! Only had about 350hp but it was a reliable daily

Years ago I had a little red shortbox that was lowered, handles shaved and a 400hp small block 400. It steered tight and fast with an aftermarket box and 11" red steering wheel to match. It looked fantastic but was an absolutely worthless pos that drug on every gravel road and you couldn't haul or tow anything with it. I kept about three months driving only a bit the first month before finding a sucker to buy it. He pulled the drive train and scrapped the shiny red shell.
